From Bowl Blowouts To Big Guests, We Map The Season And The Year Ahead

Anthony Dinges Season 3 Episode 1

Send us a text

A scoreboard can change your night, but a hometown name on a national stage can change your year. We kick off 2026 with Indiana blistering Alabama and a Winchester kid—Stephen Daly—woven into the story, turning a playoff bracket into something personal. The energy is loud, the analysis is sharp, and the pride is real as we size up Miami’s statement over Ohio State, Oregon’s finish, and a Sugar Bowl that favors Georgia even if our hearts peek at Ole Miss.

From there, we bring it home. Meach heads from Fordham to East Carolina with immediate eligibility, and we dig into why the transfer portal can be a fresh start instead of a red flag. We recap Hanley’s run at the Arby’s Classic—steady first halves, late slippage, and the teachable moments that separate depth from fatigue. Even the one-legged three-point contest becomes a snapshot of grit and joy that defines high school hoops culture.

We’re building ahead too. Big Shots is joining us next week to unpack AAU basketball, recruiting signals, and what parents, players, and coaches should expect from the modern circuit. Between new subscribers, long-time supporters, and a candid look at community losses, we keep the conversation human: gratitude for those who keep the lights on, space for those who are grieving, and an open invite for anyone with a story to share. And yes, we address fantasy sports with a smile—half skill, half luck, all perspective—because sports are supposed to make us more connected, not more bitter.

Ride with us through the college football playoffs, AAU insights, and local standouts who make national headlines feel like family news. If this show makes you think, laugh, or text a friend, tap follow, share it with your crew, and leave a quick rating so more people can find the conversation. Your voice keeps this community strong.

SPEAKER_02:

What's up, everybody? Welcome back to BWO here live with Tony Dinges and Chris Tucker to celebrate the uh new year. So, Chris, what's up, man?

SPEAKER_03:

Hey man, welcome back, Tony and Tuck, ladies and gentlemen. You know what it is. BWO, we in the building. Um, yes, the numbers say 2026, and you know, we all have our different opinions. That's why we're called brothers and opinions. I don't really think uh the new year officially starts on January 1st, but our calendar year does. So that's what we're here to celebrate and have fun with it, man, and uh talk about all things good and bad from the year and looking forward to what's upcoming this year. But right now, we want to start off with Stephen Daly, his Indian Hoosiers, and how they are smashing Alabama and those crimson roll time.

SPEAKER_01:

Right?

SPEAKER_03:

Shout out to Steven Daly, man. Like, that's big time, man. One of the greatest athletes ever come out of Winchester in the whole area for that matter, man. And it looks like they're hitting to the final four, Tony.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, I mean, surprise. Honestly, I'm surprised. They I I bet against them. I ain't gonna lie. I thought Alabama was gonna win, but hey, Indiana's proven me wrong. I mean, they're beating the shit out of them, right? It's 38-3. You know, and I and honestly, a lot of these games haven't even been close yet so far. I mean, what Miami uh won. They beat took down Ohio State. I mean, the score the score doesn't indicate to me how dominant Miami was in that game. You know, they dominated the whole game from start to finish.

SPEAKER_03:

Miami this year, right?

SPEAKER_02:

Uh yeah, UVA. Yeah. Mm-hmm. So I say, I mean, hey, a team that everybody? Yeah, Oregon won.

SPEAKER_03:

In a closed game with Texas Tech.

SPEAKER_02:

No. No, I mean they they tacked on a touchdown near the end to make it look more like 23 and nothing. They rubbed it in, basically, I guess you could say. But hey, like most coaches say, stop them. Really.

SPEAKER_03:

So yeah, but really, shout out to Steven and Indiana Hoosiers, man. Um it'll be a few weeks away, ladies and gentlemen, but we're we're gonna have Steven and their coach on and um talk some big things about Indiana and VA and JMU and all that stuff. But right now, don't join them, man. And Steven Daly is two games and two wins away from winning the national championship and a national championship ring. He didn't get to play because he was injured, Tony. But the announcement and stuff was still shouting them out in the beginning, like, oh, they missed Steven Daly, the best he can pick on Indiana, da da da da. That's dope, man. That's that's amazing to hear that.

SPEAKER_02:

Right, right. It is it is a shout out to Steven, you know, unfortunately had that freakish injury, you know, celebrating and hurt his knee. But um, yeah, I mean, hey, Indiana's doing her thing. You know, they look like they look like the team to definitely beat. I will say that, you know, so hey, I th I thought it was gonna be what were they saying, like when uh who was it, when you know Miami won beat Ohio State, what was it, teams with a bye since the F you know, this playoff has started there that made it 0 and 5. You know, so typically that by doesn't you know isn't favorable to teams, you know, so yeah, but Indiana won theirs. In dominant fashion. Dominant fashion tonight. So then you got the sugar bowl will be old miss in Georgia at eight.

SPEAKER_03:

And most likely Georgia should punish them, but I'm rooting for old miss.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, it's hard to beat a team twice. This will be their set in the first one, was close. Or the first game. So we'll see, man, that's why they play the game, but I think I mean Georgia should win it. Yeah, they should, but you never like that. You never know. That layoff hurt them or whatever. It'll be an off a couple weeks and having that bye week. We'll see. They come out flat and don't miss, you know, like Miami and them did to the other teams. Because Ohio State looks hard. Yeah, he yeah. So I forget whatever, you know. Lane, we all know about Lane Kiffin. Um I'm not a fan of him. He does this all the time. You know, so where'd he end up going? I I forget. Uh what?

SPEAKER_03:

I don't know where he went.

SPEAKER_02:

Yes, he used to coach it, but see, I have no idea.

SPEAKER_03:

Maybe LSU.

SPEAKER_02:

But he does. I mean, that's a whole nother topic, you know, with of Lane Kiffin, but that's just his MO. He just does this shit all the time.

SPEAKER_03:

Like, but regardless, his school's in the in the game tonight against Georgia, and that is a shout out to old uh Lane Kiffin and Omez. So he helped he helped rock him all the way to this game, final uh final eight.

SPEAKER_02:

Right, right. Yep.

SPEAKER_03:

But that's the college football playoffs, ladies and gentlemen. We're gonna keep it in sports, but switch over real quick because uh another one of our hometown favorites and Hanley favorites, man. And you know, we got we pumped him great south recently, and uh from Stephen Daly and what he's going with Indiana. Uh Tony, you want to shout out Meach? He played with Quincy and uh they played together growing up, and he's uh now he left Fordham, he left up here in the Bronx, and uh he's going down to East Carolina, he's a pirate down there.

SPEAKER_02:

So uh well no, Quincy never had the chance to play with Meach, but he did play with Stephen Dale in football and basketball.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_02:

Quincy, once Meach was a senior, quince that was like the COVID year, and Quincy was a freshman at the but he did it, he did play with Steven.

SPEAKER_03:

They were teaching, you know, so both football and basketball. And where is Meach going to school at now, Tony?

SPEAKER_02:

He is going to East Carolina, correct.

SPEAKER_03:

Yep, and what do you know about them?

SPEAKER_02:

They're the pirates.

SPEAKER_03:

And what what else do you know about East Carolina?

SPEAKER_02:

I don't I don't what what?

SPEAKER_03:

What what conference are they in? What's their schedule like? Um he's automatically eligible to play, which is dope. He's gotta learn the system and everything else, but he's just such a great player and athlete that he'll fit right in and help him. He'll probably be their best player.

SPEAKER_02:

Right. But ECU's what? I want to say some reason the sunbelt. Is that what they're in? I have no idea what these days. Yeah, me neither. Somebody helped me out of the sunbelt, right? I guess.

SPEAKER_03:

He went from Hanley to play offensive line down there. I know Ann Brown was at that school. I don't know a lot of people that went there. I know Chris Johnson as far as some football players went there. Right. DJ QK or whatever. So shout out to Meach, man. He's about to kill it down there in East Carolina, so y'all check him out, man.

SPEAKER_02:

Well, yeah, that since we're on the shout-out thing. Let's give some shout-outs to, you know, some new followers and subscribers, you know, out there would start giving everybody shout-outs for all that. So I want to shout out to uh who did I have, Chris? See, look, I can't even find it now.

SPEAKER_03:

Who? Travis Brown. Um, there's been a lot of them actually.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, Wuka, Justin Garrett, you know, all our subscribers, you know, on YouTube. We appreciate that. And then, of course, everybody else starting to follow us, you know, on Facebook as well. We really appreciate it.

SPEAKER_03:

Um, Beans Lofton, Danny Westfall, who? Dallas Pate, the Max.

SPEAKER_01:

There you go.

SPEAKER_03:

You got you got him. Dirty McFly. Like you said, Justin Garber, Vlad, Jack West, Larry Wee, Swiss, or whatever. Wolf of the John. Uh, yeah, RBN. I'm not sure who that is, but yeah, man. We appreciate everybody, Tony. Like you said, we've got a lot of new followers and people starting to subscribe and shit, man. That's dope.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, we're up to 53 total subscribers, and then a special shout out to who?

SPEAKER_03:

That's just on YouTube.

SPEAKER_02:

Well, yeah, but I want to give a special shout out to uh Zub Weavers that Robert Weaver, you know, he's been a supporter, you know, donates five dollars to us on Bus Rout. You know, every month. So that, you know, we really appreciate it. That helps pay, you know, go towards our account on that, you know, to pay for bus frout. Because like we say, it ain't free. But yeah, Robert Weaver, thank you very much. He's been a solid supporter for a shoot. Three years and counting, you know, since we've so yeah, really appreciate that, everyone. So, Chris, let's dive into what else did you want to talk about? We talked about the college football playoffs. All right, let me ask you this quick. Who you think is gonna win it all?

SPEAKER_03:

Indiana.

SPEAKER_02:

So Indiana, well, they look like the they're in the final final.

SPEAKER_03:

Uh they're gonna punish or and they're gonna beat whoever else makes that final game.

SPEAKER_02:

Right.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, dude, they got the squad, they've undefeated, they won the Big Ten, they beat Ohio State to win it. They're like that. Stephen Daly's a key key player on that team, man, and yeah, they're gonna win that whole championship, man. It's just a dope situation all about. I'm not an Indiana fan, but I've never seen Stephen been in football.

SPEAKER_02:

Well, they got a lot of kids from Virginia.

SPEAKER_03:

I know, but it's a special year for them, and definitely for Steven Daly and Hamley and Winchester, man. So hell yeah, I'm going for the Hootie. First time I've ever said that.

SPEAKER_02:

Right. Right. But rightfully so, having a homegrown kid a part of the team.

SPEAKER_03:

About seven, eight, nine, ten seniors. Like I said, more seniors than the bingo night. Uh over there in the E on the hill with Zach and them. They got a lot of seniors from Isaiah to Keon to Christian and Kyron and Amari and Jayvon. And I don't even know how to tell y'all, but I can name more seniors than you guys can think of. And uh Tony Haley had a great experience this past weekend, right down at the Arby's Classic. We won't dive all the way, but you were there, man, your son played, so what do you want to talk about for that real quick?

SPEAKER_02:

I I mean, I could just say in short, like Haley's on the map now. You know, they competed with Oak Hill. You know, to me it's just Oak Hill was a little too much, too much depth, you know, but they competed with Oak Hill, you know, they had the lead the after the first period, tied it, you know, going into the half 25-25, I believe. So, you know, and then Oak Hill just slowly, you know, pulled away. We got sloppy with the ball, too, you know, at times, and then they played uh Rono Catholic and lost that one, which that that was a good game, you know, close. They were fast, athletic, they could shoot, you know, mid-range, whatever. And just in that one, honestly, to got sloppy with the ball, you know, because they had a 10-point lead, I think, going into the fourth quarter or fourth period.

SPEAKER_03:

You know, so well, you know, it's a it's a learning lesson, and I think that's a good experience from them to play down there.

SPEAKER_02:

Oh, of course. I mean, you're only gonna learn from you learn more from losses, you know. So that it's only gonna make them better, you know. And they hung with Oak Hip, one of the top teams in the whole nation, you know. And you know, without one of their best players, you know, Will. Right. So even without him.

SPEAKER_03:

Don't share where Will is not out there right now. I'm just picking on Will, man. But nah, that was cool. He had he almost won the three-point contest out there on one leg.

SPEAKER_02:

Right. And and I'll mention that, yeah, on Sunday they had a three-point contest. Will still did it on one leg. You know, it was a prick because he got like 15 points, I believe, or something, or 16. But the kid who did win could shoot too. He got like 21, 22, something he was able to use both legs. He was out there firing that thing up. But yeah, I mean, just to be on one foot, I mean, it was to say if he if he was healthy, he might have won the you know the whole thing. You know, but yeah, I mean, that's impressive.

SPEAKER_03:

That that uh Arby's classic, and but we got like the big shots and all this stuff that goes on, man. So I I don't think we you know, we probably won't get all into it, ladies and gentlemen, because Tony, you go ahead and tell him, man. Uh next week, a week from today, ladies and gentlemen, we got some special guests on that, I think, run that organization. If that am I correct?

SPEAKER_02:

Uh they helped with the Arby's Classic, big shots.

SPEAKER_03:

Big shots.

SPEAKER_02:

The yeah, Jeff Snyder, Bryce Snyder, and uh Kevin. Uh so we will have on Kevin Snyder Thursday to talk about the Arby's Classic, big shots, a all AAU world in general, recruiting, getting all that. But yeah, we we will have Kevin on. Kevin Snyder on uh Thursday, so everybody can tune into that and we'll talk about everything you know that happened at the Arby's Classic that they helped with, and then you know, they run big shots where Rise of Stars, you know, who I coach with. We play in that on that circuit. So yeah, we'll dive all into that. But answer some questions, you know, transfer report, all that good stuff. So I I'm not gonna give too much away because I can say we'll have him on you know next Thursday and once a tune into that be at 7 o'clock. Tried to have him on, tried to have him on tried to have him on tonight, but we know it's New Year's, so everybody got family over and stuff like that, so he'll do it, you know, Thursday. We'll discuss all that.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I wouldn't expect anybody to get on tonight, man. Well, we're on. But we have people like uh Al Al Spay and Parker B and Pedro on, and I'm not sure who some of them are, but yeah, that's what's up to you guys watching the show, man. Appreciate y'all.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, appreciate everybody tuning in. Yes, sir.

SPEAKER_03:

But yeah, some big shows in the work, man. But we definitely appreciate everybody who's came on in the past year. Um from Jay Sean, to who's down to Wake Forest, to Mrs. Lee, who's one of my favorites, man, to have her on. That the 94 undefeated state champs, Tony. We had Michael Benitez Jr., um Justin Garber, we had on, right? Chris West, Chris uh Chris Higgs, uh Ryland Emiris, and um Hassan Akambi. Yeah, we also had on the man, young man from Emran Henry, who's decent on defense this year.

SPEAKER_02:

Man of Luska.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, yeah, man. Um we had we had on a lot of people, Tony, man. That was fun, man.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, it was. It was a good year, man.

SPEAKER_03:

And I try to carry out West Virginia and the charity events and uh organization comes on to food banks.

SPEAKER_02:

Right. Correct. Yeah, so we try to have on, as everybody can see, you know, any g anybody. Any walks of life. You know, we had BPG on, Brian Pierce Gonzalez, you know, school board member and Professor BPG on. Mm-hmm. You know, Shane Adore University, and then you know, Tyrus Thomas from the youth development center, you know, why do you see this came on, Mike Hammered?

SPEAKER_03:

So, you know, big buff out there in the building, man. Like, so yeah, we've had some different people on some people from the Haley, people from the area, some other people, you know, whatever it is. But look, man, we try to talk and set things up with a lot of y'all and vice versa. But schedules and things, life is how it is, it's hard to make things work, but let's get it, man. Everything's up to all of us as people. Y'all want to get on, highlight us, man, and uh come speak about whatever you want to speak about.

SPEAKER_02:

Yes, sir.

SPEAKER_03:

We said it's a just a brother with a pinion, even if it's a woman and it's a sister with opinion. How at us, let us know what y'all want to talk about, man. Because we talk about it all. We don't give a fuck. I told y'all fuck Trump, fuck Ice. I don't care. We talk about it all. Fuck Dallas Cowboys.

SPEAKER_01:

See, why do you got a brilliant look? We have nothing to do with this.

SPEAKER_03:

He can say, Hey, I'm just a brother with the pinion. He can think about the Redskins or whoever else they call us nowadays.

SPEAKER_01:

Like, right.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, man. Y'all want to get on, man. We have a good time, man. We talk about your kids or where you work or why you love or hate your job, your lifestyle, everything else in between. The fucking your religion, your politics, I don't care.

unknown:

Right.

SPEAKER_03:

You can't be expressing what people think about you, just speak your mind. Get it off your chest if you want. Show love if you want. If you're excited or happy, or you know, there's certain things happening going on in your life and your blessings, man. Talk about right.

SPEAKER_02:

Where you go to church?

SPEAKER_03:

What's going on, man? Oh, I love this. All right, bet. Come talk about it. Justin Brown, where y'all at, man? Look, I'm gonna call you out. Look, we gotta get Justin on, man.

SPEAKER_02:

Like, you know, and hey, there's there's there's plenty of people that we've wanted to get on that yeah, we keep playing phone tag basically. But a lot of a few people we've been trying to get on the past year or two.

SPEAKER_03:

I'll say this real quick, Tony, because you know, it's been a rough week, what a rough two weeks of Winchester for the community and people my age and I and our entire age bracket I grew up because we lost a few people that we loved growing up, man, for Porter and William, and and unfortunate situations that's happened back home in the in the area for people that you know we love and grew up with. So you just never know what's gonna happen to any of us, man. Look, it's just a platform to talk and speak behind. How about it? Right.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, so thoughts and prayers go out to the the Williams family, you know, Porsche. Unfortunately, what happened, you know, in the community and then uh who else we have.

SPEAKER_03:

The whole Crinton family, and everybody that loves that, part of their families, man.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah. So, yeah, unfortunately, like you say about life short, man. You never know. You know, but yeah, you know, we positive vibes of both those families in the community. Yeah, very, very sad news. Very sad.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I love Wild Bill, man. I remember Portia because she hung with my younger sisters at the Abbott home. But me and Wild Bill, we used to be real tight when we was younger, man. That's a good deal, man. I love his family and sisters and shit. So his dad used to not like me, but that's cool, that's part of life. Like I was a badass bullying. But you know, I was I had a car and shit, so we could do things. Yeah, I remember all that. He stayed me down one time. He was like, I knew we were with you. Get out the car. But yeah, man, that shit hurts, man, when you lose loved ones, man, and all we have is memories, man.

SPEAKER_02:

Right.

SPEAKER_03:

Y'all y'all come and holla at us, man. Y'all want to get on, man. Talk about whatever even things y'all been through in life, man. Because we all deal with struggles and nobody has to be. But we just love to talk, man, and hopefully y'all love to listen. Hit the subscribe button, like button, hit the share button.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, there you go.

SPEAKER_03:

Next week we got some good guests on, man, from from Tony's Love or that AAU brag in those tournaments. And then after that, I think we're at Ralph Sampson and then hopefully Meach and Stephen Daly and then. But y'all stay in tune. With us, man. We got some big shows coming up, man. We appreciate everybody that just came on this past year. Like we said, Miss Lee, Michael Benitez, and uh everybody else, man. Good shit. Right. I mean, we're going to show what go show them what you do. Riley got a whole nother year left, man.

SPEAKER_02:

Oh, yeah, I know. Riley Sfielder, man, only a Jews. Well, another one too, Zayden Burks, only a Jews.

SPEAKER_03:

We had Zayden on a few years ago when he was just by ninth grade. But yeah, player of the year. He's the best player in the state, man. Best running back. And that's not just Hanley's division. He's not even Hanley's division, I think. He's 3-A. But he's giving back to the whole state. It don't matter what it is, man.

SPEAKER_02:

Also, shout out to uh Josiah Johnson as well.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, yeah. We're supposed to get Jojo on the show actually. Shout out to him. Domino and Shayla, who we grew up with, man, class of 98. They sung defense, man. That's some good shit, man. He got nine 99 tackles, what, 15 for loss?

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, I believe so. Yeah. And didn't he finish? Didn't he finish uh second all time?

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I don't know who had the most all time, but he was second by like five tackles, I read. So right.

SPEAKER_02:

Uh my guess it might be Steven Daly.

SPEAKER_03:

I don't know.

SPEAKER_02:

I know he has a sackback.

SPEAKER_03:

Stephen Daly was the sack leader. I don't know who was the tackle.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, tack tackle could be, yeah, that could be a lot of people. A lot. So, yeah, I don't know about that. But hey, congrats, Jojo. You know, knowing that kid since he was five, six years old as well. Like you said, he grew up with his parents. Great kid. You know, he's got a bright future.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I think he might be going to Indiana or Howard State or something. Jojo's like that.

SPEAKER_02:

Never know. They might. Never know. But hey, Chris, I got a few questions. Like, what was what's your biggest memory of 2025? What popped out in that year?

SPEAKER_03:

Uh uh, I actually had four different jobs this year. And uh most of my adult life, I worked jobs for two to five, six years at least at a time. Not this, but I had to switch a lot of jobs this year because unfortunate circumstances and shit happened. But one thing I'm gonna always do is hold my head above water and keep the pushing forward. So yeah, but nah, man. But that's probably the one thing. And it was a two-month period where I didn't have work, and that's the longest I've ever been out of work since I was probably in six, seven, sixteen, seventeen. So that sticks out the most.

SPEAKER_02:

Right, right. What about you? Yeah, I uh I uh me, I mean, I guess I gotta say Christian committing to you, doing his thing in basketball. You know, my son going to Fork Union, which is exciting. And I'm very excited about that. And then also uh I have to say going to New York on that trip to the cot year CEDU sticks out last year.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, not that much.

SPEAKER_02:

No, that was that was that was fun, you know. So not much really, you know. 2025 was pretty blah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

It's over with already.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah. But we're gonna make it bigger and better this year, man. Bigger and better. Well got to stop talking shit and speak it into existence. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, what was the what was your favorite sports moment of the year?

SPEAKER_02:

UVA football team. I mean, not losing a Duke, but hey, they they had their most wins in school history, 12, I believe. You know, in their program history. So UVA definitely sticks out.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, that's what's up, man. That's wild too. Their whole history, they've been around for a long time.

SPEAKER_02:

Well, yeah. But like a lot of schools. You just I mean, look at Indiana, that's a prime example. They said, they said what? They're like the most losses in football hit like NCAA, I think, in their program. You know, when they're playing Alabama, the top different spectrums, but now look at them, you know. It's just it only took 150 years for Indiana to get a good football program.

SPEAKER_03:

That's the name of Steven Daly yet.

SPEAKER_02:

Right. There you go. There you go. Yeah. And he's that Winchester grown kid. That's that's what it was. Hell yeah. So Chris. Oh, dude, that that'll be so awesome for the area, especially. You know, somebody winning like that, a national championship. I mean, whoever who else could you mention from the area that was bit you know, then what Steven's doing right now.

SPEAKER_03:

To win the national championship, I don't know of anybody, but we've had a lot of athletes that's played in big time things. But yeah, I don't know on that. Yeah, that stage football, not sure about that.

SPEAKER_02:

Right. Well, I don't know, Kelly Washington.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, but Kelly played college football. He got a scholarship to play D1 football and basketball half sure, but didn't even go because he got drafted in baseball. Well, remember, I mean Kelly. We seen him at Sharando open gym on Christmas, Christmas break and shit. He's up there playing ball, and of course, he's bigger than most of us. And he's like, Oh, I think I'm gonna go walk on to Florida and play basketball. Talking about the babies.

SPEAKER_01:

Right.

SPEAKER_03:

A couple months later, this guy's playing fucking football at Tennessee. Well, that's what I was getting at. I mean, that's no, but he's gonna get basketball, and he ended up being more football. I haven't played any one of the sports in six years on a tennis.

SPEAKER_02:

Right. I'm saying he ended up on Sports Illustrated, the cover of Sports Illustrated.

SPEAKER_03:

He was in the middle of ESP in the magazine in the center folded his briefs. Right. His arms brought up like Bo Jackson and shit.

SPEAKER_02:

No, I'm gonna have to find I'm gonna have to find that pitcher.

SPEAKER_03:

And he he broke the SEC record, the entire conference record for most yards in the game as a freshman.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, because doesn't yeah, he still holds that record, correct?

SPEAKER_03:

Nah, it's been broke since.

SPEAKER_02:

Has it been broke?

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, Justin Jefferson is some of these guys, man, that's come along, but he had like 278 yards. Right one of his first games as as a freshman. But of course he was like 25.

SPEAKER_02:

Gotcha. Okay.

SPEAKER_03:

That's what I'm saying. But yeah, I I mean he wasn't that guy coming up, but you're right, then he was that guy in college. He broke the SC record, so yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

It's not how you start, it's how you finish.

SPEAKER_03:

But yeah, other than Kelly, yeah, nah, Stephen A, Stephen Daly, Stephen A. Stephen Daly's that guy. Stephen A.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, we'll have him on soon, too.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, we might.

SPEAKER_02:

We might.

SPEAKER_03:

You're right. But yeah, man, ladies and gentlemen, we appreciate y'all that tuned in and shit. We know everybody's out having a good day. Starting off they so-called.

SPEAKER_02:

We just wanted to jump on real quick, give some shout-outs, you know, the year review, you know, all our guests. We appreciate everybody who's been on and supported us. And hey, it's just gonna get bigger and better with BWA. So, like I say, tune in Thursday. Uh, we'll have the big shots guys on over here running the AAU stuff, and that that'll be a great episode. I think a lot of people will tune in and be interested about that. And we'll be talking all kinds of basketball. Yeah. It'd be Chris, you'll love that episode. I know you're gonna go all in.

SPEAKER_03:

I'm already telling them. I know the best on.

SPEAKER_02:

Right. But yeah, guys, hey, you know, hey Chris, it was fun. It's been a great year, and shoot, we've been doing this since when? How long?

SPEAKER_03:

This is our see you you're you're better at dates than me. So it'll be in March of 2021 during the so-called pandemic. And yeah, we've been rocking strong since, man. You know, Wayne is up in it, but you know, not around right now. But we've been going five years strong, man, and and two months. So shout out to you, Tony. Y'all started this, y'all had a vision. You know, you don't want to take over Wink's Wink FM and shit. So we're trying to work on that. But right now, you know, we're just keep doing what we're doing, man. Bigger and better things, like you said.

SPEAKER_02:

Hey, well, like I said, like you said before, man, we this all started really with me and Zeb and I did. And then look who's left. Me and you. So you never know how things work out, you know what I mean? Yeah. So, yeah, yeah, we we keeping it going. That's it.

SPEAKER_03:

I never know how we work with people born in the 70s, but here we are.

SPEAKER_02:

Jeez. So, Chris, you do you have a talk rule? You know, we gotta we gotta continue to save your talk rule, man.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, one's one that we we was talking about, we wanted to do before, man, and I still we gotta get it off our chest. Is the crazy thing is is the fantasy thing, right? Because me and you are in the basketball right now, but I think we all lost football. But is why do people get so caught up in fantasy football and really getting their feelings and don't even want to talk to their friends or get you know, like I'm like, you have fantasy, right? Like I mean, that's a so like you're just all everything's cool in peaches and cream, but if you lose to Tony or you lose to whoever we're playing, Zeb, Wayne, Mike, Mikey, everybody that's in the league, dude. They they fucking feel away, like it's real life. I'm like, we have players, yeah, that are great, but we don't have nothing to do with what they do on Sundays, like right.

SPEAKER_02:

Exactly. Hey, I mean, when money gets involved or whatever, this is my answer. It's just people just take it way too serious. Like you said, I'm I'm not one that take takes it seriously. I think it's all fun. I do it for fun. You can't control what these players do in a game, you know. So hey, yeah, people get all wrapped up in their I mean there's there's some skill to it. I can say, you know, a little bit playing on matchups, right? Right. You know, you try to go off that, but yeah, I'm with you. A lot of people, you know, get really getting their feelings about it. I mean, hell, we can even go off to where people send people the players death threats and shit because they lost their, you know, fantasy matchups with the party and shit. Right, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Shout out to JP too, man, because he actually gave us that idea a little while ago, man. So yeah, but we had to run with that because it's wild how people get so wrapped up in fantasy and black.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, see, see, Mike, Mike Hamry just chimed in. He said, half skill, half luck. There you go. Yep.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, you can draft Jokic or or Tom Brady, but if they get hurt in the first week or whatever, what what you gonna do?

SPEAKER_02:

Right. Like they out.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, you suck at drafting. Well, I drafted the best player and he got hurt. Like, what you want?

SPEAKER_02:

Oh, you suck, right? Right, right. Well, shoot, I could say, for example, like, who do I have on my fantasy football team? And you look at it and it's like, dude, how are you losing? Like, what I had, Jabbar Chase, and uh who was my damn Jabar, you know, the number one receiver, I guess, supposedly. Well, it was CD, I think, going into look into the year. But yeah, it's just fun. It's fun. But they answer your question, yeah, half school, half luck. Mike answered it. There you go. I don't know why people get in their feelings. Me and you aren't those dudes, so I I don't understand it. You know, they'll cut you off, stop talking to you for a whole month.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, like it's like they're real teams.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, right. Right. But Chris, yeah, hey, it's love the talk rule, man. Guy come up with uh something every episode. And look like and and fans chime in. Like, look, Mike, Mike, Mike, I love you, Mike. Always chiming in.

SPEAKER_03:

But JP gave us an idea, so you know, if other people got ideals and shit, you know, holler at us.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, there, yeah. Holler at us. You know it.

SPEAKER_03:

Up talking until it's 2027, ladies and so Chris, are any NBA games tonight?

SPEAKER_02:

Because I know you're a big NBA fan.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, we love NBA games. And look, I I noticed throughout the day, man, I got a couple updates to my my fantasy text messaging that my play in the lineup was now out. I was like, uh, all right.

SPEAKER_04:

Right.

SPEAKER_03:

I know the one player that I am playing is the only guy in fans that doesn't pay attention. So ain't no fucking set his lineup. So I'm like, I ain't worried.

SPEAKER_02:

Oh, uh JB, we we see you chiming in, bro. We got you. JP's getting in his feelings.

SPEAKER_03:

Um there's there's games. The Knicks don't play again until tomorrow night. We was up big last night and lost to Wemmy in the Spurs, but you know, we ain't mad. We still got the second, third best record in the whole league. We alright. Right. Right. Well, yeah, I thought, man, are you gonna watch that Georgia game? Ole Miss?

SPEAKER_02:

Oh yeah, man. Gotta get look about to start in like 15 minutes. Gotta definitely check that out. Who do you got? Who do you say? I probably already answered.

SPEAKER_03:

You said this is the win, but I'm pretty sure Georgia will punish him.

SPEAKER_02:

Right. Yeah, I think Georgia, I think they'll be too much.

SPEAKER_03:

But I don't really care. N is gonna win the whole thing. And Stephen Henley will be riding on the on one of those charge festival. I'm telling you, with the fucking national championship ring on.

SPEAKER_02:

JB, FSU's out of it, bud. I know you love your Florida State. They was ass. They was butt cheeks this year. As the kids say, ass cheeks. Florida State. JB Chavez saying Florida State. He's a big FSU fan.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, I I don't know. Didn't Florida State Beyond.

SPEAKER_02:

Didn't Florida State like they were like pre-season or any. They were ranked in the top ten to start the season, weren't they?

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, right. And they played better afterwards, I think, but yeah, now you might worry about the Florida State.

SPEAKER_02:

That's right. They were buns. That's what I just said. Ass. Florida's that. Now Miami, on the other hand, don't not a Miami fan. But making the ACC look real good right now. And that Virginia lost.

SPEAKER_01:

What is it?

SPEAKER_03:

If Miami plays Indiana, then my books.

SPEAKER_02:

Yes. I'll take Indiana. Like I said, they look I'm a believer now. I wasn't before.

SPEAKER_03:

Bobby Bowden. I think this got like terrible.

SPEAKER_02:
