Friday Night Lights And Tough Truths

Anthony Dinges Season 2 Episode 17

Send us a text

Barber-shop energy meets hard truths in a fast-moving hour that starts with local pride and ends with a call to do better by our own. We run the scoreboard on Martinsburg’s title chase and Strasburg’s route through the bracket, then flip to Handley’s stacked roster, the rotations that could make or break a state run, and why depth now means legs in March. It’s candid, unapologetic, and full of names you’ll see on scoreboards this winter.

The mood shifts when we ask why Kettle Run keeps owning the area. The answer isn’t magic—culture, discipline, and physicality. We talk honestly about building standards that last, not highlight reels that fade. That same lens frames our shoutout to Steven Daly, leading the nation in tackles for loss and earning Big Ten praise. He’s proof that local work can reach national stages, and a reminder to support athletes before the headlines, not after.

Then we face a tougher headline. Two National Guard members were ambushed near the White House—one with local ties—and our town barely blinked. We challenge the silence and ask what it says about our priorities. From there, we unpack digital ID concerns, privacy stakes, and how easy convenience can compromise agency. We don’t tell you what to think; we ask you to think for yourself.

To close, we kick around Giannis trade rumors, what a true superstar means to the Knicks or Lakers, and how playoff math shapes the Cowboys, Eagles, Indiana, JMU, and Virginia. The throughline never changes: preparation, culture, and courage—on the field and off—decide who we are. If you’re here for real talk about the teams you love and the people who make this community, you’re in the right place.

If this hit you—share it, subscribe on YouTube, and drop a comment with your state picks or your take on the Guard story. Your voice helps this show grow, and your support helps our kids feel the noise while they’re still grinding.

SPEAKER_02:

What's up, ladies and gentlemen? Welcome back. Y'all know it's 7 p.m. on Thursday, so it's time for Tony and Tuck. We're gonna get into everything and all kinds of things. You hear those sounds in the background, that's none other than uh where y'all need to get to if you need a haircut. Come on down to Christian Cuts over here. Uh what's that address again, Tony?

SPEAKER_04:

I'm not giving my address address out to everybody. You hear me? Yo, Christian's Cuts.

SPEAKER_02:

That's that business we can come on over there. Zach Diggs had a cut over there. Zach Diggs. I meant Zach Harrell. Shout out to Zach though. Um Zach Harrel had a cut over there last week, hit Coach at Hanley. Um, we're gonna shout out my boy uh that coach with uh Tony over there, Danny Morgan, Chris Higgs, because he definitely didn't go to Christian's cuts if y'all seen him recently. But um for real, y'all need to come see Christian, man, the young superstar athlete over there at Hanley. Um he could he cuts hair and he does very well, honestly. So I'm surprised. But he does his thing, man. But Tony, let's go ahead and get right into it, man. We're gonna what local sports? We're gonna talk about the real IDs, the National Guardsmen from West Virginia that was killed recently by the White House. And uh we're gonna also talk about something um a little close to home, ladies and gentlemen, scrubbing those fouls over there. I don't know the action. I know it's in Wink City. So let's get right into it, Tony. Let's shout out people like Strasburg and Martinsburg. The birds, they still live in the area. So what's happening with football in the area?

SPEAKER_04:

Well, we'll get into uh, like you just said, we'll jump right into it. Local football, you have Martinsburg and uh who is it? Morgantown playing for the West Virginia State 4A title tomorrow night. So everybody go check that out if you can. Then also, local schools still in the playoffs is Stralsberg plays Picosin, and they will play the winner of Glenvar and Union in the uh 2A state semifinals. And then you have in uh 3A, you still kettle run still alive, they play Liberty Christian and Magna Vista and Lake Taylor play. So the 3A state semifinal. And in the 4A state semifinal, you have Verena versus Jefferson Forrest and Loudon County versus Lafayette.

SPEAKER_02:

The Loudon County kind of the area since they used to be in our district.

SPEAKER_04:

Right, right. So let's jump in the you know, good luck to all those teams, you know, Strasburg and all the area schools. Strasburg and Martinsburg Martinsburg, you know, yeah, they're hops skipping a jump away. So yeah, good luck to all them guys. You know, go get another state title. Well, shoot, Strasburg ain't got one yet, have they? They've never won it. They've never won in football, right?

SPEAKER_02:

I I don't know the history of that.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, I don't think, yeah, I'm not sure. I don't think they have. But hey, basketball season started. Haley's ranked number one in the state in 4-8.

SPEAKER_02:

Shout out to James Wood, Michael Bell, and Coach uh Higgs and all of them, and they got their first win against Park County by about what, 18 points the other night.

SPEAKER_04:

Good win. Correct, yeah. So yeah, congrats to Chris Higgs. You know, my former running mate coaching. You know, he's out there doing his thing at James Wood on the varsity level. So speaking of that, Chris, I think did I not? Oh, that was the other night. So this was uh last night's games, basketball games in the area. Yeah, Culpepper County defeated Manassas Park 57 to 25. Kettle Run fell to Millbrook 59 to 49. So I think Millbrook's 2-0 now because they beat someone the other, I forget who it was. And then Sharando fell to Central 47 to 39.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, and that's where my young boy is at, Matthew Owens.

SPEAKER_04:

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_02:

One of the first team on state last year with the John Marshall boys. Three John Marshall kids and Matthew Owens. Shout out to Matt, man. I wish he would went to Hanley. No lie, y'all lucky I'm not down there coaching like Zach and Tony. I would have had Matthew Owens, Derek, Catiz, Zaiden, Burks, all them and Hanley. We already got the squad. Hamley got the best team hands down. Some of the bench players would have started on the other team, but right, right. I would have done it like John Marshall. I'm like, why y'all so good? Well, we're gonna study while we good. Right. And we ain't good, we great. Mm-hmm. Zach, don't lie. I'm putting all the pressure on Zach this year, man, because well, I'm sure they got enough for you being the coach for a lot of us, and and totem and everybody else. Like, we've all went to states with these coaches and never won. Right. We've also never had a team that's played together like this with like eight feet of seniors. You guys are stacked, and now you've got other people like Jameer Washington, the people playing, and you move Jack up, and you got a sequel weapon we won't talk about yet, a freshman, super shooting sensation, a junior will. We're not talking about all that, but Zach, you're going all the pressures on you this year.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh, hey, they're a target. A target's on their back this year.

SPEAKER_02:

I keep it real. Zach's gonna be a college coach somewhere. Zach can got knowledge of coaching, but for right now, it's it's about handling and getting it done, man. I want no excuses. I'm tired of the excuses. We've lost with everybody.

SPEAKER_04:

Well, they're they should get it this year. It should be their year.

SPEAKER_02:

Well, it should be with Mike Brown, and it should be with everybody that's come through from LA and John Thompson and Marcel, and we've lost all of them. So let's go get it done, Zach. I'm being serious, man. I'm so tired of every year getting so hyped to us, and the next thing you know, I should have just felt like I've been my whole life as a Knicks and a Ridgins fan. We just fucking lose. Like as great as we can be, and we still lose when it matters. So come on, Zach. Right. Putting the pressure on you. You might not have came through with the ice cream truck, but guess what? You come through over here real quick with these states. Hey Zach, I'm cutting up on you, man. No lab, but guess what? It's nothing but love, man. You're the greatest coach in the area, but you ain't won no ring yet. Melbourne got a ring. Let's go get that.

SPEAKER_04:

Yes.

SPEAKER_02:

Well, let me off the Jordan Sugars, the twins, right? And Eric NBA Green. Let's shout out them because they want states. But I'm tired of losing, Tony. And your son is a superstar over there right now. Let's get it done.

SPEAKER_04:

I'm with you. 100%. I'm excited for the season to start. So let me uh there's games tonight, two local games. If my phone stops acting up. But uh, you have Orange County plays Liberty and Falkier plays Warren County. That's tonight.

SPEAKER_02:

Well, I'm going for Liberty and I'm going for Warren County.

SPEAKER_04:

And then tomorrow night, Friday, you got Manassas Park versus Goochland. Liberty plays Skyline, Millbrook plays Broadway, Kettle Run plays Meridian, and Jameswood plays Falk here.

SPEAKER_02:

I'm going for Jameswood and Skyline, all the area schools, man. I'm definitely not worried about. Yo, no lie. Where's Coach Zach? Uh what's his name? Smith.

SPEAKER_04:

Smith, what the football coach?

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, my boy. I I think I said his name earlier. Jake Smith?

SPEAKER_04:

Yes, you're correct.

SPEAKER_02:

Shout out to the coach of the year in football, man. You got a lot of players and the squad over there. Now they're going to basketball, some of them, but I really think Haley needs to learn. If y'all don't play in Martinsburg, it's time to give up on Kettle Run. So y'all, Millbrook, James Brooke, Surando, everybody in the area in the kettle, and all they do is run y'all down. Kettle Run owns our area. Tony, Haley's lost like six years in a row of football to them. I'm sorry. It's great as well. I mean, I can't never beat that.

SPEAKER_04:

I can't argue. I mean, you're right. They they own us right now.

SPEAKER_02:

Why do we keep losing to them? Like, what do they do that's better than us? Be honest. Because I'm not down there. Are they better? Or do they have better talent? Are they more well coached? Is it a complicated? Is it just a better program?

SPEAKER_04:

No, they're they have a great program. You know that they're always in the state run in 3A. But um they're they're just well coached. They're disciplined, you know, they're tough, they're physical. So, and you gotta match their physicality a lot. You know, they're a tough team. You can't take nothing from them. I mean, they're they're well coached, and like you know, they've built something there, they got a good program. But to me, Hanley could have there's no way they're 34 to nothing dogs, the the team they had this year.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, so is that what they lost to them too?

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, I was like, well, yeah, I think it was 34 to nothing, something like that.

SPEAKER_02:

Well then they all that's what that's what Hanley is. Let's keep it real, Tony. When we get the States or we play a team like Kettle Run, we just can't beat them. And I'm not gonna make excuses. It's the truth. Hanley, Winchester, like we gotta do something, man. Like, that's unbelievable, Tony. That we just that team I've never even heard of because they didn't exist when we was growing up. They just run through Hamley.

unknown:

Who?

SPEAKER_01:

And you Sharando and James Wood and Billbrook, they run through the area. They whoop Skyline, they whoop everybody.

SPEAKER_04:

Right. But I've always said it, you know, football players like you get the southern teams, you know, in Southern Virginia, you you gotta be able to spread the field. Yeah, you gotta be able to air it out. Kettle Run ain't southern. Yeah, unless you get I'm not talking about Kettle Run, I'm talking about the Jeff Verenas and Dinwiddie's.

SPEAKER_02:

Oh my we just got the Jeffers from Lynchburg.

SPEAKER_04:

So Yeah, you gotta be able to you know mix it up. So that's just my opinion on it. Anyway, but they they had a good team this year. They should have gone, everybody knows you know, they maybe they should have gone further, but hey, that's why they play the game, you know. So it is.

SPEAKER_02:

But when the hell do they play? Are they scared to play?

SPEAKER_04:

December 13th. Next but that was the whole point. They they pushed it back because as far as they could, because it, you know, a lot of the basketball players were playing football.

SPEAKER_02:

And they counted the eggs before they hatched and thought that was going somewhere they didn't go. Right, which is why I'm gonna keep it real, and I always do Tony, and you know me. Ladies and gentlemen, if y'all live in Winchester, y'all know this young man, Tristan Darling. I wish he was playing basketball this year, but shout out to Ms. Lee, who we just had on the show, and shout out to the swimming team in the area. He's swimming this year, he's on the team, right, Tony?

SPEAKER_04:

Right, correct. Yeah, as far as I know, he's he's swimming.

SPEAKER_02:

Especially when you're coming to be trying to recover from a injury. So that's dope for him. But if he played basketball, I'd start him at the point guard, and I didn't say nobody else starting or not starting yet. So y'all get out your feelings. I would have started Tristan because sometimes you gotta understand the truth. You start the best. And I would start Christian. I mean, Christian, Christian definitely starting. I would start Tristan.

SPEAKER_04:

Christian, Christian or Tristan?

SPEAKER_02:

I would start them both and go with the states. But we still got J Von, Kyron, and Will and Amari in them. Now, I I want y'all to start using the football players that also play the receiver, defensive back that led the area and reset uh defensive picks.

SPEAKER_04:

Amari? Or no, Isaiah Baxter.

SPEAKER_02:

Baxter.

SPEAKER_04:

But shout out to Amari.

SPEAKER_02:

Get some burn on that court. And and Jack White. There's some players, man. Jack Gonzalez, y'all have players that can hoop. Let them get three, five, seven, eight minutes here and there, man. Let them play and reserve the legs of Christian and Will and all them because y'all gonna win states. Y'all gonna have to do it right.

SPEAKER_04:

Right.

SPEAKER_02:

Y'all gonna go to Oakland. But shout out shout out to uh shout out to Amari though.

SPEAKER_04:

Now that you made Amari Brown for he's got two offers in football, Fairmont State and CNU.

SPEAKER_02:

Which is why you should never doubt yourself and you should never think you should just you just have to play one sport because Amari's an amazing athlete all around. Right. His dad was first team all district in all area. Shout out to Travis. But Amari might be such a great athlete that he's gonna go to college for football instead of basketball.

SPEAKER_04:

Yep.

SPEAKER_02:

And I was like and in basketball, short is not really the word they like. But yeah, football, man, he can run, he can play, he can hit. Like that might be a good form. But dad, shout out to Amari for real. That's dope. Hey, hey, what's his name? Zaquan. There's a couple of people I've been seeing getting some offers and shit lately.

SPEAKER_04:

What's that?

SPEAKER_02:

What's his name? Williams? Zaquan is whatever? I don't know.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, what about is Zaquan Williams? What about him?

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, he gets some offers too, I seen. So I'm like, shout out to him.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh, I missed that. Yeah, I missed that.

SPEAKER_02:

I don't even know him, but shout him out. Like, what I'm gonna do.

SPEAKER_04:

Right. Sorry, Chris. I'm I'm I'm getting a text. But uh losing my train of thought.

SPEAKER_02:

No, it's fine. I don't lose mine. I'm on the trains all day. That's how I got to and from work today. So we're gonna keep it moving just like the trains.

SPEAKER_04:

Right, right. Alright, so let's keep it moving. Enough about Haley.

SPEAKER_02:

Well, I'm gonna say enough about Haley, but our biggest shout-out needs to go to Steven Data. So it's still Yes.

SPEAKER_04:

Leading the nation in TFL, tackles for loss.

SPEAKER_02:

What'd you just say? Leading what? Leading the area?

SPEAKER_04:

No, the nation. NCAA. The nation.

SPEAKER_02:

Oh, the region, the region.

SPEAKER_04:

Mm-hmm. So shout out to him in big game coming up, too. The Big Ten championship with uh Indiana State and Ohio State one and two.

SPEAKER_02:

Ohio State's definitely picked a beat him. Ohio State's got the best team, the most NFL ready players, but they don't have Steven Daly. Correct. Who them bumass Winchester Rising Stars set me and Wayne and them up a couple years ago and made us play them dudes. Tony and Tyree.

unknown:

I don't know.

SPEAKER_02:

Hey, I didn't say that. I didn't set that all. Especially not growing up there and stuff. I came back one time and played, and I played against Big Leach, who's the best ball player from the area, probably ever. And then Stephen Bailey, who's probably the best football player ever from the area. So shout out to those kids, man. They're doing great. We're gonna get Leach on the show coming up soon. But right now, we're talking about Stephen Bailey and Tony. I think he's going to the NFL.

SPEAKER_04:

He has a great chance.

SPEAKER_02:

If you didn't watch or hear the game this past Saturday, all they was talking about is he's one of the best players in the conference, which is Big Ten. Which is Michigan, Ohio State, and all then. And then they was like, he might be all American. I'm like, who? Even if he's not, it don't matter. Like he's going to the NFL.

SPEAKER_04:

I hope he does.

SPEAKER_02:

Shout out to Steven Daly and his whole family, man. Winchester Hammy stand up real quick.

SPEAKER_04:

That young man, he's doing something. Yep. The good stuff. So, Chris, to keep us moving, because you know my cowboys are playing tonight. Uh let's jump right into the National Guard. Who were shot the two National Guard that were shot. Yeah. From our local area.

SPEAKER_02:

Didn't you tell me that one of them's from Martinsburg? The young woman.

SPEAKER_04:

I know one of them is the young woman's from Martinsburg. So I don't know where the other one is. Their names are uh Sarah Beckstrom. She was only 20 years old, and Andrew Wolf was only 24. And they were ambushed in DC. And you can try to the guy they've arrested, and you can go on it. I ain't even trying to say his name because I'll butcher the hell out of that.

SPEAKER_02:

Because they're trying to blame it on somebody from the Middle East. They they said he's Afghan, which is Afghanistan. And right. I did a DNA test about three, four years ago. Shout out to this young lady that helped raise me on Highland or Fairview back in like 83, 84. Um, I did a DNA test and I got Afghanistani in my blood, and I'm 40% Pakistani. But guess what? That's neither here nor there. They blaming people from the Middle East, knowing that it's a lie because they just want to start another war. But they want to start the wars always with the Middle East. When there's never been people from the Middle East over here bothering us, and you guys can say 9-11 or whatever you want. We know that was fake and the false flag and all that, too. Uh we keep it real. It's Tony and Tuck. And this segment is I don't give a fuck. Because it's true. My biggest thing, Tony, is those two members that were killed. Okay, they're military, they're national guard. It doesn't matter if they're from West Virginia, Martinsburg, Martinsburg, and the other was from wherever he's from. Woof. But guess what? My thing is if they're U.S. military, and we ride hard for our country, right? There's people with American flag and the banner and the star spangled banner and all. Y'all gave Charlie Kirk a podcaster, all this love, and moments of silence and uh vigils in Winchester, but haven't once even mentioned these people being killed on your Facebook. I'm calling everybody out. I don't care who you are, I don't care what you look like. Why are you gonna talk about all that Charlie Kirk shit? But you ain't even talking about these two military people that were just killed by the White House last week, Tony. What's your take on that?

SPEAKER_04:

I mean, I completely agree. You make a good point. It's like, how come we put flags at half staff for people who don't even deserve it? You know what I mean? You're muted, Chris. Oh, yeah, Charlie Kirk. There you are.

SPEAKER_02:

So dog, they had vigils in Winchester and everything. They shut the town down, telling them, oh, you guys are ignorant.

SPEAKER_04:

Right, right.

SPEAKER_02:

But they haven't mentioned these two people once.

SPEAKER_04:

So people who defend our country, you know, in the military, give us our freedom, we don't do nothing for.

SPEAKER_02:

And it's not about him or anybody else. It's the fact that this was a person that does podcasts like Tony and I. Y'all would never raise no flags, and Trump would never bring us up. But because of him having his money with Israel and everything else, and Trump and all I'm trying to pull his strings. Oh Charlie Kirk died. Shut the fuck up. Because you haven't said one thing about these military members dying. And they got gunned down by the White House. So I'm tired of hearing the bullshit. Y'all need to keep it real with people.

SPEAKER_04:

Right. I mean, I'm with you. The old Charlie Kirk day, we've we've spoke on it before. Basically, you know, what what a douchebag. I honestly, it's just like if you support Trump, same thing. Like, I don't know how y'all support him or now y'all follow Charlie Kirk and talk about oh, he was a great debate, you know, and like make it a movement basically. Like what movement?

SPEAKER_02:

He didn't. He was you know what he was trying to do. So-called people they want to start wars with.

SPEAKER_04:

But what he was trying to do is why why was he going to college campuses and speaking? For what you think.

SPEAKER_02:

Because he knows he could talk to 18 through 20 year olds and get his way.

SPEAKER_04:

And trying to manipulate him, and that's all he tried to do is brainwash these younger generations. Yes. When go watch when he when he's on with uh, I believe it's Bill Maher, interviews him. And Bill Maher puts him in his place. He he had nothing to say. When he debated a grown ass man or person, he he got put in his place.

SPEAKER_02:

Tony, you don't have no viewers tonight? Nobody in there?

SPEAKER_04:

Oh I a couple.

SPEAKER_02:

Shout him out.

SPEAKER_04:

From what I see, I'm not sure.

SPEAKER_02:

I'm gonna shout out some of our biggest uh followers and viewers and support recently. Mike Dolman, Mike Hamrick, Patrick Burks, of course, Nikki, Nikki Moten Venges, um, Mike R. Kulin. Some of the people that's really been doing it. Shout out to Zach that uh followed us starting last week, which is surprising because he was on the show like two years ago. But you know, Tony, we keep it real all the way.

SPEAKER_04:

Better late than never, I guess.

SPEAKER_02:

But honestly, people, no lie. We're gonna keep it moving because we we're not gonna hold y'all too long tonight. But yeah, we spoke about me about a dude named Charlie Kirk and a podcast person that debated college age students because he got killed. But when two military people got killed, and for Winchester and for the area, Martinsburg, all y'all that's not, they from Martinsburg, the the woman's.

SPEAKER_04:

That's what I that's what I would have known. We live in this area.

SPEAKER_02:

Anything in the area about it.

SPEAKER_04:

That's I was just about to say, Chris. I'm like, somebody chime in. It's like, what did they do anything at the air base? I mean, I'm sure at the airbase, they I hope they would do it.

SPEAKER_02:

They wasn't helping Trump and Netanyahu and Israel and everything else. And when he turned that money down, they killed him. I'm gonna keep it real with y'all, man. Y'all need to stop that bullshit, Tony. Let's get right into the digital ID, man, because this shit really makes me say.

SPEAKER_04:

Go ahead.

SPEAKER_02:

That was your you're at I've never shout out of uh Italy. But digital ID is coming for all of us, and it's already been released on iPhones. What is right now, ladies and gentlemen? Don't get it. Well, you what did you say white, left, right, black, white, left, right, fat, skinny, uh, rich, poor, uh, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, whatever. It don't matter what you are, don't get it.

SPEAKER_04:

But what country did you say shut down?

SPEAKER_02:

It's humans. We're all humans, we're supposed to stick together. We don't have a culture in this country because what country shut down, Chris? Italy. Italy hasn't went to work in two and a half, almost three months as a nation. The economy has collapsed, the people have taken over, and it's because they don't want to get it and they're not. There's a lot of people in England and other places that's going to try to do the same thing. But I I was talking to Tony earlier, and I've talked to a few other people. The reason we won't do it is because we don't have our own conscious.

SPEAKER_04:

But uh yeah, to me, we're too diverse, which is a good thing, but a bad thing.

SPEAKER_02:

It's like we don't have to have a culture because the whole culture is genocide, and that's the reason we're fine with Gaza and everything else that's happening right now, because this whole country started by killing people and taking over. Right. So in the end of the day, we really don't have an identity. And I'll get into a little more and get right back into what we're talking about. But the whole reason ice and everything else is going down is because we're trying to get rid of everybody who doesn't look white or from this so-called country when nobody's from here, unless you're a Native American, so to speak, or an indigenous person. Let's keep it real. So, Tony, we don't have an identity, we're never gonna be able to do it. Uh, but Italy does. Because I have black friends, white friends, and all in between. And they're all, oh, I've got to work, I've got to work, which is we're doing, we're working for those elite people. I got kids, I got kids. Okay, them kids ain't gonna have no future if we ain't gonna help them. Right, and that's how I feel, ladies and gentlemen. Yes, I had two shots earlier. I'm feeling hype. This is how I feel.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, you're a little hype. I can't call, I can't calm you down at all.

SPEAKER_02:

No, but I'm just letting you, I'm just letting you roll. You can listen to anybody you want. I called it brothers with opinions when Wayne Tony and then asked me, Zeb asked me about a few years ago. And it's because we're just brothers and don't care what we look like, and we just got opinions. Like, take it for what it is. We're not telling we're telling you the truth or a lie, we're just telling you our opinion, take it for what it is, and some of it's true, but you take it for what it is. End of the day, Tony. I'm tired of the bullshit fuckery that so many people is afraid of everything, so they dumb it down and don't say certain things, and I honestly they're not who they are behind closed doors. Be yourself at all times, right?

SPEAKER_04:

I agree, too many fake people.

SPEAKER_02:

I'm not getting a different ID, Tony.

SPEAKER_04:

Well, Don. I'm not I'm not gonna be.

SPEAKER_02:

I don't know. Gary Cow. All y'all don't get it. Ann Bromley, Jen Bromley, Maddie Bromle. None of y'all get that shit, man. We not getting it. Justin Brown, Jason Vince, don't get it. Kia Jones, Siobon Thomas. I'm shout at everybody I know. Giannis on in the coupon, don't get that shit. Now let's get right into Giannis, because I know y'all people don't like to hear so much about politics, but the honesty, end of the day, that's just what it is. It's true. We get people killed in the military, and we brainwash those 18, 19 year olds that join the military, and then when they get killed for defending the country or whatever happened, there's nothing about them. But then a podcaster guy that does the same shit as Tony and I, except for we don't brainwash kids. They get visuals and moments of silence. And then the digital, they're just trying to take our freedoms away. Like I'm trying to tell y'all people think for yourself, think outside the box, do some own research for yourself, and stop thinking everything you see in the news is real because the same fucking families that we're telling you to disagree with is the same families that give us all of our news.

SPEAKER_04:

Right, right. Well, let's jump right into you. You said what you had to say. You got that off your chest. So let's jump into this Giannis Trey, because that's your New York Knicks right there.

SPEAKER_02:

You said Giannis, yeah. Damn, you see, Dory ain't never been to Greece. Me neither, but I cook a lot with Greece. And his name is Giannis.

SPEAKER_04:

Giannis.

SPEAKER_02:

Giannis Anna Kupo in every fucking 30 teams in the league.

SPEAKER_04:

I'm glad you can say it. I don't even try to say his last name. Well, I love basketball, so I I know what it is.

SPEAKER_02:

It's like saying I don't know who Christian Diggs and Will Brown doing are. I know they're shout out to J Bon Briscoe Mark.

SPEAKER_04:

Well, what do you think about so what do you think about the trade?

SPEAKER_02:

Well, I hope my Knicks get him, and I hope we don't have to go to a whole team for him, but I get it. When you have a chance to get one of the three or four best players in the NBA and one of the top 20 players ever, you take a chance because we've never had somebody like that.

SPEAKER_04:

And then who else did they get? Dylan Brooks?

SPEAKER_02:

Well, that's a possibility of a trade. But if just so this isn't final yet, Giannis is possibly being traded right now to like 30 teams, but there's only like three or four teams that really have a legit chance with their assets and their draft picks, including OKC and the Lakers. But the mix of the team he said he wants to go to, and I love it because I'm a Knicks fan. But yeah, I don't know. Where would you like to see him go?

SPEAKER_04:

So hold on. This isn't official yet.

SPEAKER_02:

Hell no.

SPEAKER_04:

I thought it was official. Oh, so he hasn't so he hasn't officially been traded yet.

SPEAKER_02:

No, he he asked for a trade yesterday.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh shoot, you know, I'd be thinking that that was the trade which you sent. I mean, that'd be jokes. Well, but the bigger news to me is when I heard you guys, you know, in our little fantasy chat, that he faked an injury last night or something.

SPEAKER_02:

And I've never seen him do nothing like that. I've never even seen him flop. He faked the whole injury last night. Dude, nobody was around him. He fell down by the foul line and just laid there and called for uh the medical staff to come get him. That's how bad he wants out of the and then after the game, Doc Rivers is like, oh, we're we're sending to get an A uh MRI. And then they were like, Thank God it's not an ACL tier. And now all of a sudden he's out one in two weeks. But really, that's how it starts when you want to trade and you want to force your way out of somewhere.

SPEAKER_04:

Right, but to me, it's not the right way to do it. We're all right, but the day these players these days, they're different.

SPEAKER_02:

But he's giving them everything and he helped that that city win a championship, dude. Have you ever been to Milwaukee?

SPEAKER_04:

You don't know anybody been to Milwaukee. No, I never been to don't never been to Milwaukee. I've been everywhere else.

SPEAKER_02:

The last time you went to Milwaukee, you was probably in college drinking one. Milwaukee's best. And you're so old, you went to college in the 90s.

SPEAKER_04:

So stop telling my age. But I like to meet that's what popped out more is in faking the injury. Like, I know he wants to be traded. I mean, that's that's known.

SPEAKER_02:

Dude, and he never does nothing like that. Like, he doesn't even flop.

SPEAKER_04:

Right, yeah. I can't recall him ever. Right.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, last night's show. Like he was like, all right, I'm getting the fuck out of here.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, like I'm I'm done with it all. So I I don't know where where he ends up.

SPEAKER_02:

Where would you like to see him?

SPEAKER_04:

Well, of course with the Lakers.

SPEAKER_02:

What about with Luca?

SPEAKER_04:

That's what I'm saying. Of course, with the Lakers, but you know, so well, you guys have a chance to get him. Yeah, that's true. Imagine if that happened.

SPEAKER_02:

Luca and it's not hard to imagine. You've had Shaq and Kobe and Kareem and Magic. You've had all the greats. So that's what happens in LA.

SPEAKER_04:

Right.

SPEAKER_02:

It's time for the Knicks to get one.

SPEAKER_04:

Y'all he's gonna go, he's gonna want to go to a big market.

SPEAKER_02:

He said he wanted to go to New York.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, New York LA. To me, that's where he's gonna want to go. You know. Right. Like, uh there's the only places I could see going. It's either or. I mean, you could always throw Boston in there.

SPEAKER_02:

Uh because they're just such a 600,000 people. Well, I know, but they're just like Norfolk has a 1.2 million. Norfolk's twice as many people as Boston.

SPEAKER_04:

Well, I know, but I'm just saying franchise popular, you know, wise. Of course. Like you ain't turning down or going to Boston.

SPEAKER_02:

He's not leaving Green to go to Green.

SPEAKER_04:

Really? Never he might.

SPEAKER_02:

No, yeah, green.

SPEAKER_04:

He's just chasing, he's just chasing that green. That's all he's doing.

SPEAKER_02:

He's already won a ring, so at the end of the day, he's solidified. Right. He won a ring with Milwaukee when nobody even talks about Milwaukee ever.

SPEAKER_04:

Right.

SPEAKER_02:

The Dallas Cowboys play tonight against Detroit. That's got big playoff implications.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah. I mean, hey, how about my Cowboys? I mean, we're killing them right now. But but I'm hey, two two games that you done beat the Chiefs, done beat the Eagles. Yeah, so now Detroit, we win it, we win this game, bro. I'm saying we can probably win this division.

SPEAKER_02:

The only thing that's gonna fuck y'all up is Christmas.

SPEAKER_04:

Braylon, they're a little at Braylon's time, and he's like, how do we feel about the Indiana Ohio State game coming up?

SPEAKER_02:

Uh we feel state Stephen Daly's gonna eat.

SPEAKER_04:

I I'm taking, I mean, I'm probably being biased because Steven's on it, but I think Indiana definitely has a chance. They have a tough Ohio State's pick to crusher. Because I think I want that I saw that they they have great defensive back. Because you know, Ohio State always has, like you said, pro receivers.

SPEAKER_02:

And they're called wide receiver university.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, and so it's like I've heard Indiana's DBs are nice. Like, you know, they're top statistically in the nation.

SPEAKER_02:

I think, you know, I mean you're not undefeated after 12 games or whatever.

SPEAKER_04:

10 games. But it'll it'll be a good game.

SPEAKER_02:

But no loud how states pick a win and rightfully so. Oh, of course they are.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah. They just hey Braxton.

SPEAKER_02:

Who'd you say his name? Braxton? Braylon. Miller. You know him. Well, hell yeah, big beast receiver with the frozen, he's the dunk on people. I wish I couldn't play that. Look. Hey, while we shouting out Indiana, their coach came from where, Tony?

SPEAKER_04:

JMU.

SPEAKER_02:

And JMU is undefeated, crushed through their conference. And uh, if UVA, who we're gonna shout out to, shout out to Virginia Wahoo. If they lose on Saturday to Duke, you JMU has a legit chance to be in that playoff. But we I don't think they will. I think they're still giving to a uh-burn or an LSU kind of school before they ever think about JMU. But JMU, shout out to JMU. Yeah, they're still great without the coach that's now over in Indiana with Steven Daly. And my dream matchup would be to see them two in the championship.

SPEAKER_04:

But yeah, this is to me, the only way JMU, the to me, the only way JMU gets in is if yeah, Duke upsets Virginia and the ACC champion. The committee is not gonna put a five-lost team in the they the in the playoff. Yeah, that to me from there you just put the best in. At that, yeah. So good if Virginia loses, which they shouldn't, they should dominate in that game. Yeah, and it being the playoff, which is which is exciting stuff. So for for the Cavaliers, because they're they're having an historical season this year. You know, they get their best start ever only the second time. They what 10 and 2 or their regular season record was.

SPEAKER_02:

I've never heard of Indiana football being good.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, it's the coach. When he went there from JMU, he well, they were good last year.

SPEAKER_02:

He brought half of his team with him.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, they all said they follow a lot of the kids followed him. Yeah, so but I mean JMU obviously ain't heard too bad.

SPEAKER_02:

Look at certain kids like Amari and Christian and then they helped their football program out.

SPEAKER_04:

Right. Well, you never know. The word might be out there. What about JoJo?

SPEAKER_02:

Jojo might help him.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, you never know. So but hey, Steven is a prime, you know, he where did he start? Kent uh Kent State is where he's you know, and he transferred to Indiana. Yeah, so he's transferred to Kent or Indiana for a senior year. So but yeah, man, we'll wrap this up. You know, go the Cowboys gonna win it. We'll get back to that real quick, because like I say, Chris, uh You guys are six, five, and one? Yes, I believe six five. Oh, so to me, if Dallas wins this game, they have a hell of a shot to win the division. Because I feel the Eagles remind me of what a couple years ago when they started out, and then they just like lost like five, six games in a row.

SPEAKER_02:

But if you go seven and six, you'll be seven, five, and one, so you'll jump ahead of by half guinea by game because you have to tie break it with them. Right. This game is huge.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, oh yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

Zeb, I know you're listening, and my bad to you and Wayne, because we didn't get into one of the topics we was gonna discuss, but it's kind of, I guess it's touchy for people in the area, especially you and Wayne. But the reason you guys haven't really been a part of the podcast, man, we didn't really want to bring it up, but you guys over there scrubbing them files and shit, man.

SPEAKER_04:

Like we'll talk about the FC files.

SPEAKER_02:

I don't know that building the FBI building in Winchester, but I don't think we should see it. You can be in Arkansas, you can be in California, and you can be in Hawaii, and they're gonna be like, Where's the them files being scrubbed in some town outside of BC called Winchester?

SPEAKER_04:

Right. We know people we're the n we're in the news for the wrong reason, or hometown, we're in the news for the wrong reasons.

SPEAKER_02:

Winchester people are scrubbing those files. That's that's a fucking nuts out of this.

SPEAKER_04:

Right. Yeah. Well, a lot of people don't. We're in the area where a lot of government buildings are. FBI, ATF, like everything's in this area.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, fuck all the other word, they're all fucking gang, they're gangs. COV, the cops are gangs, FBI, the CIA, all gangs, all legal gangs.

SPEAKER_04:

Right. Right.

SPEAKER_02:

The digital ID. Don't tell me no shit about Christian Kirk if you don't care about your own military members getting killed. And um enjoy life, ladies and gentlemen. Just because we got certain things going on we discussed, that's what we want to do, and that's BWO, man. But right, and end of the day, enjoy your life. We're called brothers of opinions for a reason. It's an opinion. Take it for what it is, agree or disagree. That's cool. We keep it moving, we kick rocks, and we still see you tomorrow. But don't enjoy your fucking life. Go out there and support the local sports, the local kids. Whether they play soccer or volleyball, shout out to James Wood again four times in a row, women's state chance. Amazing. We're trying to get their coach on soon. Um, but y'all want to be a guest, y'all want to get down? There's a million ways to reach us from Tony and his wife, his kid, to me, to email, to Facebook, the the whatever else we got, Tony, X and Instagram and all of it. Hit us up, man, for real.

SPEAKER_04:

SPEAKER_02:

You see it, Chris. Yeah, I can't they click it. It doesn't even take a second. Just hit your finger on it.

SPEAKER_04:

Well, I know, but I want to know if it's if it's uh up there.

SPEAKER_02:

I don't I don't see it on my hundred and something viewers last week, but we still only had like one new new um follower last week, which was Zach Harrell. Shout out to our top subscribers this week. Who was it, Tony? Or top viewers, Patrick first, Patrick, yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Yep. Hey everybody, hey, we appreciate the follow because what do we have? 751 to be exact followers on Facebook. Hey, carry that energy over to YouTube, carry it over to YouTube and subscribe.

SPEAKER_02:

It takes two seconds for real. Like, we're not upset that y'all don't, we just don't get it. Like, this is kind of confused. Most people care about Janet Jackson's birthday or Kobe passing away, but don't give two fucks about local military dying or Tony and Tuck or Mike, Mike and Dwayne or Josh Kirby and all that local podcast. Like, go show support, man. Show love. Don't talk about you Christian Venges when he makes the NBA if you ain't fucking supporting him right now. I don't want to hear that. I'll be like, yeah, I ain't remember me. Because I'll be protected from my nephew. Zaden Burks, don't jump on Zaden Burks nuts if y'all ain't supporting him right now.

SPEAKER_04:

Right. Don't do that.

SPEAKER_02:

Steven Daly, too. Y'all ain't fucking with Stephen Daly and y'all ain't supporting him right now.

SPEAKER_04:

Chris, you know, that's a that's a whole nother topic. You know how people come out the woodworks.

SPEAKER_02:

I know, but we keep look, it's about it's all about throwing love at the end of the day.

SPEAKER_04:

We might topics. That's one thing people Chris, like that's that's one thing people can't say about me and you is like we should support for everybody.

SPEAKER_02:

But that's what it's supposed to be, man. I only love the people I know the most. I support them, but I don't I don't know. I'm not gonna support them more than I support J. Josh Kirby, Mike Domin, and Dwayne Clark, and I'm not gonna support it more than Christian Diggs and Zach Harrell and Chris Chris Higgs and James Wood and Sharando Milbrough. Right. That's me, and I don't even live down there. I'm not asking y'all to support no shit here in Brooklyn, no shit here in New York. But it's about the area of what we care about, man. Y'all got something to stay coming, get on. And that includes my people out here in New York, man. Y'all want us to discuss something? Hit us up, get on the show, man. Carrash, where you at? Like crazy.

SPEAKER_04:

We're working on that. We're working on that.

SPEAKER_02:

Mike and Jerry boys, we're gonna hit y'all up soon, man. We like to get y'all on Justin Brown. We know we've been waiting for you for a couple years, but look, y'all gotta highlight us too, man. Everybody got lives, we get it. But come on, say what you gotta say. Speak the peace. Look, is a topic you got? Something you wanna push, a business you're dealing with, an event you got going on. So come tell us.

SPEAKER_04:

Uh not off the top of my head. Nobody's birthdays. It was my father's birthday on the 30th, I'll say that. So happy belated. You know, in heaven. Yep. So I know that. Other than that, no, I don't have any birthday shout-outs. You you you're the one that's supposed to take care of that.

SPEAKER_02:

I celebrate my birthday.

SPEAKER_04:

So alright, Chris, we'll we'll wrap this up. Yeah, real quick, because you know the game's coming on. We've been on there running up running our mouth. So everyone, like Chris is saying, go support us. Yeah, not hard. Go follow us or like us on Facebook, subscribe to our YouTube channel.

SPEAKER_02:

Bing, it doesn't cost you anything. We don't charge.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, we ain't charging nothing. At least not yet. That's when we start getting that exclusive content. But hey, everybody, thanks.

SPEAKER_02:

Go enjoy your team, win or lose. Go enjoy the game, man. The rest of y'all go enjoy your night. Have fun. If you haven't eaten dinner yet, enjoy a nice dinner, a nice meal. Talk to your kids, hug your wife or your husband and your mom and dad, whoever's around that's your loved ones. Enjoy the night, man. Enjoy the time with them. Call somebody you haven't talked to in a while, catch up, see how they're doing. Because before you know, we're all gone, man. So we're gonna keep on beating out BWO out until the grills fall off. It's only four months away from five-year anniversary, Tony. So shout out to you, man. You put something together, man. We're still doing it.

SPEAKER_04:

Right.

SPEAKER_02:

And like I said, Wayne, my brother, and one of my best friends ever in life, but him and Zeb both fouls, so you know, way right now. But for real, man, I appreciate you and what you've done in almost five years, man. So be pleased.

SPEAKER_04:

Hey, man. Hey, I appreciate you. Love you guys. What's that?

SPEAKER_02:

I said you heard what I said. The only undefeated coach in middle school in the area.

SPEAKER_04:

Nah, nah, no. I lost my I was undefeated two years in a row. And then I lost three. We lost three last year.

SPEAKER_02:

Because you lost Tristan in the that's why.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, but we still ended up winning the chat, you know, the VH or VH as a chance. But we we lost three last. That was my first three law at Dave Morgan as head coach. So but still one change three years in a row. I do I do what I do. That's all I say. I do what I do.

SPEAKER_02:

Shout out to you and Sharice, Sharice Long and everybody else that's out there that's been hooping and coaching and teaching the kids the right way throughout the years, man. Larry Norman.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, appreciate it. I learned from Larry Norman.

SPEAKER_02:

Yep, Ernest Change, Josh, the coach that came up to us, Brenda Mitt, uh, Shelly Lee, all them coaches, man. But shout out to yourself, Tony, for the podcast, man. Almost five years strong, and uh being one of the best coaches in the area.

SPEAKER_04:

Thank you, I appreciate it. Because a lot of times you feel like you don't get that love or respect. Coaching's a thankless job. Yeah, a lot a thankless job. You just gotta keep pushing it.

SPEAKER_02:

Thank you.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, thank you. But you just do it for I tell people in the coaching, you know, I've been around a lot. It's like, you know, people want to stop doing it because of parents, this, that, but ultimately you're doing it for the kids. You know, that that's what you're doing it for. To make them better people and humans, point blank. Is all it is. It's it's bigger than the sport, you know what I mean? In life.

SPEAKER_02:

It's about it.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, you want to teach them life lessons along the way as well. Just make them good people. Yes, sir. And that's it. Yeah. But hey, Chris, uh, let's go enjoy this game. Go watch my cowboys. You know, go destroy the lions tonight. And hey, man, we'll be back on next Thursday. That's it. You know, bigger and better. Alright, bro. Love you. And everybody, thanks for joining in.

SPEAKER_02:

Alright, bro. Love you too, man. Y'all be safe. Have a blessed night, man.

SPEAKER_00:

No stylist, revolution, televised. Ain't no good in private. Knowledge to the ignorant. Ain't never been blitz. Stand up and be heard. We the new activists. Yeah, but it's with opinion, let the combo begin. You know communication be but then you must have ahead. Let the voices be heard. We are like it, but it's open now. We put in the words living, we can do it in the dark. Make it do the speed, but speed up in the dark.
