Speaker 1:

I was ready, bro. It's a hindrance. Silence is cassette, so let your voices be heard, man, we brothers with opinions. Now we spreading the word. Bringing light to the dark Revolution is our art. Man, a lot of people talk, but they ain't never walked apart. Gotta shine a light on poverty and fight against injustice and always speak the truth, Nah we just wanted to start y'all off with a little wild morning, ladies and gentlemen.

Speaker 2:

We're going to get into all kinds of stuff like the Heisman Trophy, lil Durk and these little young badass rappers getting indicted by the feds, and we're going to get on to all kinds of things like how life is moving so quick, ai robots taking over, bill Belichick taking over UNC. You know, this is like Jay-Z and Nas. This is the takeover edition.

Speaker 3:

Wayne, Zeb, Tony, let's get into it. Fellas, Happy Sunday everybody. Alright, let's go. Let's do local scores first, We'll touch on, there's that alright, that's it. So let's start on the local football scores, the state finals, and we'll go with Maury defeated Briarwoods 46-0. This is the state final game Of what division? 46 to nothing. Maury is class five, maury yeah, that's. Norfolk. So that was class five. Class three was Kettle Run. Lost to your Liberty Christian 42 to six.

Speaker 2:

Hey, did I call it? Yeah, you did, yeah, you did. And Kettle Run's nice.

Speaker 3:

And then Essex defeated Grayson County another shutout 22-0. So that was your Class 1 state final. Oscar Smith defeated James Madison 21-20. That's class 6.

Speaker 2:

Oscar Smith is also Norfolk.

Speaker 3:

And then Phoebus in class 4 won which is no surprise 23-6 over Verena, and Graham defeated Strasburg in class 2, 31-8. So that's your Virginia State Finals.

Speaker 2:

Well, whoever Phoebus played finally held them to only 23,. If you consider that a low score because they've been putting up 50-60 a game, yeah, true.

Speaker 5:

I mean Feebas is more defense, yeah, but they've been putting up a lot of points, though, tony, like in the 30s and 40s. Chris is right man, they've been putting up a lot of points, but they only put up 23 in that state, final yeah.

Speaker 3:

But I mean, I've heard they're more a defensive team. They seem like they're probably. That controls the ball.

Speaker 5:

Well, obviously, because they only scored six points. You say right?

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah, but I'm just saying about them, it's like their score-wise Right.

Speaker 5:

I wonder how many points you know they normally score. How many of that is from the defensive side?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, but they're, I think, a more time of possession team coming from the scores.

Speaker 5:

That'll be something we'd have to go into the box scores and check. You know what I mean.

Speaker 2:

What about the Rams? No, puka the Rams.

Speaker 5:

Strasburg. Strasburg lost to Graham.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I said that they lost to. Graham yeah but that's the area school, so do y'all know anything more about that game, how it went like? How they got beat back like that after they've been really impressive this season?

Speaker 3:

Graham must just be that good. I mean, they did the same in Central last year.

Speaker 5:

Yes, it wasn't even close Back-to-back state title champions champions.

Speaker 3:

So where's grand virginia? I believe they're like very southern, like down in bristol area, like the state line of tennessee, something like they're down that, the southwest region of virginia yeah way, even further over than gate city it's a kick.

Speaker 3:

so we'll touch on West Virginia football. We're right there on the state line. If everybody wonders why we mentioned West Virginia, it's because we were like a hop, skip and a jump from West Virginia where we live. Martinsburg beat Spring Mills in the state title 24-17 in the Class 4 championship in West Virginia, and then Bridgeport defeated Hoover 49-7. And then we got in the AA Frankfurt over Rhone County 49-14. And the single-A championship in West Virginia Wahama defeated Cameron 29-22. That seemed like a good game.

Speaker 3:

That seemed like a closer game. I heard that Spring Mills-Martinsburg game was like the game of the year.

Speaker 2:

I thought y'all was going today.

Speaker 5:

No, I missed it. Yeah, I was tied. I was tied up that day, so there's no way I could have made. I was tied, I was tied up that day, so I could. There's no way I could have made it but it was in Charleston anyway.

Speaker 2:

Yeah they were all neutral sides so but yeah, that would have been a dope game man in two teams, yeah well, that was Spring Mills, only two, but we can get to Jefferson, martinsburg and Spring Mills quicker than we can get to Jefferson, martinsburg and Spring Mills quicker than we can get to the school Liberty and Lowry County and all them schools we used to play. Well, that's where we live. We're right on the state line. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I love middle school man, not to always take you back, tony, but to play Charlestown man. I'm surprised Hanley and James Wood and them don't play those schools. I know we get into it a couple times, but they're right there. Why would we not play them when they're good?

Speaker 3:

It's because they're a different state. I thought we were the United States. I mean, we do play them every once in a while. We still play them in football and we play some in basketball.

Speaker 2:

You play who in football? Hanley don't play Jefferson Spring Mills or Martinsburg, they play Muscleman. Yeah, the cow tipping team.

Speaker 3:

We're going to play them big boys, so I don't know what you want To play the bigger schools, it's like when Coach Harrell was on here. It's like you got to play. You know there's a balance. It's like you don't want to make your because the other teams are making a soft schedule to make the playoffs. A balance. It's like you don't want to make your Because the other teams are making a soft schedule to make the playoffs, and yeah so.

Speaker 2:

But I'm getting those kids prepared for the next level. I want them to play the best they can until they get there.

Speaker 4:

They have.

Speaker 2:

I'm saying in general, like if I was a coach I would never just be like, oh, I'm not going to schedule Martinsburg because I already scheduled like whoever. You know what I mean. I'm like fuck hell, yeah, let's go. That's just me, though. I know it seems a little off topic, but it's still local area sports. I'm just surprised that we don't man, that's all. I'm like shit.

Speaker 3:

Well, you always say I'm surprised we don't play 20 games. We should definitely play Clark County.

Speaker 2:

I mean am.

Speaker 3:

I right, you can't play 20 fucking games.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, there's too many schools now, but the area schools we should definitely play.

Speaker 2:

Clark County, that's Berryville, what, that's Winchester's best friend, we should definitely play them.

Speaker 3:

No, I get what Chris is saying because, like all those area schools, you know like when we came through school, we always played them because there were less schools anywhere there's more schools.

Speaker 5:

Right, that's your area, though, like you should be playing clark county. What is it a 12 minute? Right, like you should be I get.

Speaker 3:

I get what you all are saying yeah, like, but they're not in the same because they're a lower class I get that I get that there's way more, but you got to think about it.

Speaker 5:

They weren't. They weren't really in our class a lot of years and we still played them.

Speaker 3:

They probably were when we were in school, because there was only us in Clark County. Clark County was not in Hanley's district, clark County was a smaller school, but we played them every time, exactly.

Speaker 5:

Chris is right. They've always been like a single A or a double A.

Speaker 3:

Look at this, Think about it. When we was in school 30 years ago, yeah, Jameswood, the only Frederick County school. How many are there now in Frederick County?

Speaker 2:

Millbrook and Serrano. So three More added, and then they're going to add another one.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

So can you schedule all them teams, which you probably would, but on top of playing tougher competition.

Speaker 2:

But some of those teams are tougher competition. That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 5:

You can schedule pretty much who you want to schedule really.

Speaker 4:

Well, yeah.

Speaker 3:

I mean, you can schedule but you got to take into consideration football, basketball, where they have to play their district. You have to play their district. Yeah, yeah, you have to play their game.

Speaker 5:

That's understandable, but like when we was in Hanley's gym, basketball gym when we were in school, clark County's banner never hung up on the wall, as they were. In our district they were never. They were too small. We played them all the time Football, basketball, baseball, it didn't matter, we played them.

Speaker 3:

But it's just different these days.

Speaker 2:

I get it.

Speaker 5:

There's way too many schools?

Speaker 3:

I guess they. Yeah, we understand that.

Speaker 2:

I'm saying if I'm the coach I would want to play all the area schools first.

Speaker 3:

No, not me. Let's talk about playing tough competition.

Speaker 2:

James Wood, Sherando, Clark County.

Speaker 4:

James.

Speaker 2:

Wood, sherando, clark County, millbrook, millbrook now skyline warren, county jefferson, martinsburg like those schools are the area schools. We play them first, we get them out the way facts.

Speaker 5:

But here's the catch, though like tony said, they're all different classes. So if I'm hanley and I'm three or four a and I put Clark County on my schedule, which is single A, and they beat me, that's not going to help my record.

Speaker 4:

Hell. No, that's going to hurt your rankings.

Speaker 2:

No because you lost to a lesser opponent.

Speaker 5:

Exactly man that's like Sharanda when he started putting Fort Hill on their schedule in football and Fort Hill was coming down and kicking their ass and, look, I don't think they play him no more do they.

Speaker 5:

Fort Hill was probably like no, they went on another level At the time. They wasn't man Fort Hill. They got a running back in the NFL right now I believe he plays for the Buffalo Bills. His name is Ty Johnson and I seen this kid play when he came down here against Sharando man and he ran all over Sharando and Sharando was supposed to be like the big thing in their little class. Sharando and Sharando was supposed to be like the big thing in their little class 3A or 4A or whatever they were. And Ford Hill came over here and just ran all over them like they should have been single A.

Speaker 2:

There's a kid from down there that fucking starts for the NFL Super Bowl champs. He's from Winchester. Yeah, you know what I mean? There's kids that can come. I'm just surprised we don't play them, and I wish we did. That's all. And then the rest of the teams, tony, like we, yeah. So how come we don't go play Hampton? Then how come we don't go play TC Williams? Well, alexander Haskell and all them right now let's go Like we want to play the big boys. Then let's really play them. They in the state, let's go.

Speaker 3:

Well, to answer your question, Hanley's playing Charlottesville on their regular season.

Speaker 2:

That's good, because that's who knocked them out of the state.

Speaker 3:

But let's put Clark County on the schedule. Will that help our calls? The only way it'll help is it'll be an easy W I hate to say it, it will and just pat your schedule.

Speaker 2:

Okay, but I would have still scheduled Charlottesville. But instead of Manassas Park I would have scheduled Clark County.

Speaker 3:

Manassas Park is in their district.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, they're not in Hanley's district. Yes, they are. Manassas Park is Chris. When did they get back in the district?

Speaker 3:

Manassas Park, Brentsville, and all these people talking about, oh, Hanley's playing a cupcake schedule now they have to play them.

Speaker 2:

Manassas Park was in our district when we were kids.

Speaker 3:

David Robinson went to that high school, skyline's in our district they played all them teams twice. They have to play them again.

Speaker 5:

We didn't play Manassas Park at the time.

Speaker 2:

They played them when Frankie and them went there.

Speaker 5:

Right, we played when Frankie and them went there. Right, we played when we were in school, Chris, we played Osborne. Osborne brought us to.

Speaker 3:

Parkview. Yeah, yeah, and they're all in the same, they're all right there.

Speaker 1:

They're all right there. We put them in Ashes.

Speaker 3:

Park. I didn't know Osborne In Ashes Park. I don't remember Hanley playing them in football. They didn't, because they're like two or three. Yeah, they're smaller. They're smaller. Yeah, just like Skyline. Skyline is class three in football. Yeah, they're class four in basketball.

Speaker 3:

Menashe's bigger than Winchester? Yeah, but Osborne Park is like a hop skip and a jump Dude. When we went to Men national park to hide, because they've been there in years, osborne is like two blocks from that school, I mean. But how literally like two blocks. They're within the same area, on the same fucking road.

Speaker 5:

But can you explain to the people right now, tony, like why is it like that? Why are they 3a in football and why do?

Speaker 3:

they. I don't want it. I think that's something I have to look like. I thought they went by student population that's what I always thought.

Speaker 5:

thought, if you're 4A in basketball, you should be 4A in football. Yeah, I don't understand how Skyline and them are 4A.

Speaker 3:

Maybe it was just the ADs. Upon their discrepancy, they wanted to move up and back because they feel they're a better basketball program.

Speaker 2:

That's the only thing I can come up with you know what? I mean, that's a guess we're going to need to get on somebody that knows more about that in depth, because that's definitely something that we should figure out. Why is it like?

Speaker 3:

that? Yeah, I don't know. I don't understand that either.

Speaker 5:

It's just like Brentsville is 4A in basketball, like really, but they're 3A in football we need to reach back out to like maybe like an athletic director at one of these local schools and they can give us more insight on it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we need to get Reid on.

Speaker 3:

In Fort Brentsville they just get molly-wopped in bad light.

Speaker 5:

That's back-to-back.

Speaker 3:

They get dogged and say with Manassas Park they get dogged by everybody. I went and looked at their scores. Everybody beats the shit out of them.

Speaker 5:

But it sucks, though, man, because areas like that these kids, they're allowed to move around from school to school. So like a couple of these schools are always going to get screwed because all the best players, they try to stay amongst each other and go to the same school. So like there's going to be that school out there in that area. That just ain't no good. But when the spring comes, these motherfuckers might be number one in baseball, though they just suck in football and basketball.

Speaker 3:

Yep, you're right. So we'll touch on some score. Speaking of high school basketball, we'll touch on some scores this week. We'll recap. So yesterday, james Wood got their first W over Clark County. Speaking of Clark County, they went 42 to 40. Was it who? Huh? Who was it? Clark County? James Wood defeated Clark County. Oh, okay, and my phone stops acting up.

Speaker 2:

That's lit. James Wood just played Clark County. That's what I'm talking about.

Speaker 3:

They always play, and so did we.

Speaker 5:

And they only beat them by two. And I saw Clark County live man, Clark County's not that good.

Speaker 3:

And then Hanley beat Lightridge 74 to 44. Who the heck is Lightridge Just some new school when at In Leesburg in that area.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's a former teammate of me and yours, Chris, from high school basketball, Jermaine Walker. He coaches them.

Speaker 2:

Yep Damn, I know he's been coaching for a while. He was the head coach.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, Last week when I went to that invitational tournament with Tony up at Hanley, I ran into him and I asked him what he was doing there. He was like I got to scout Hanley because I play him next Saturday. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

No, but Tony, he was at the game right.

Speaker 3:

Not yesterday.

Speaker 2:

And that's when they played him.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Oh, you're lunching man, You're supposed to go see Jermaine, so back-to-back they had to play him.

Speaker 3:

Yeah he come to watch me Uh, coach.

Speaker 5:

Then they turn around and drove to Ashburn Saturday night.

Speaker 2:

Your son plays. Oh, I know, and your son, what'd he do? I support everybody.

Speaker 3:

That was Friday night. He had 18. And people coming to support us.

Speaker 1:

Let's put that out there.

Speaker 5:

Friday Christian had 18, right. Yeah, Friday night, Friday night he almost had a double, double Christian had 18. And eight boards, eight boards, two steals and like three assists and three assists yep Against who? That was against Madison Park.

Speaker 2:

And then who'd they just play.

Speaker 3:

Light Ridge yesterday Out of.

Speaker 2:

Ashburn, and there hasn't been a close game for them young boys yet. Not really, it's coming though no, it hasn't been a close game yet. They beat Huguenot by like 26. There's no close game.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, huguenot, to start that game. They were hanging around, but Hanley just kind of like just went away. Yeah, they were just too much.

Speaker 2:

I think the only issue that they could possibly run into is if they run into a team that got some real good bigs, what y'all think? Because Hanley don't got the bigs like that down low. I mean they really don't have like true bigs, but they have length Like if you have that real power forward and center kind of guy, hold the paint down, that might be the only issue, but Hanley can run and gun them. Then if they ain't got no quick guards, yeah, but Hanley will.

Speaker 5:

It'll benefit Hanley because their big guys are pretty much you know.

Speaker 3:

Their big guys are guards.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, they're more athletic yeah, they run like a five-guard system.

Speaker 5:

They're really what you call a stretch big bro. Like they can put the ball to the floor, they can shoot it. So it's going to be vice versa If they can't guard somebody bigger than them, then when it flips over, that big guy's not going to be able to stay in front of them. So to me it will probably still be an interesting game because it's going to benefit Haley and it's going to benefit the visitor.

Speaker 3:

I mean, if you have Kyron Ogles being Christian at 6'3", 6'4", 6'5", they can play guard Exactly they are guards.

Speaker 5:

It's a mismatch At the Knicks level.

Speaker 3:

They're definitely guards. It's a mismatch, offensively automatic. Christian's going to blow by at six foot and the way he can move is going to blow by somebody when he wants to. He can score at will. It's ridiculous. He can put the ball in the hoop. I'll just say it. He can create his own shot every day. Kyron can do the same thing. He's mobile for as big as he is. Definitely it is a mismatch. And then christian can play freaking defense like quick hands, his length you know.

Speaker 5:

So yeah, but see, that's, that's the issue that I have, like. So they run, they run a zone, a lot like a one, three, one zone, but there'll be times where you have to come out of that zone and play man man and me personally, I think it's going to hurt them because they have only a handful of guys, probably not even that, that can actually lock up and play man to man.

Speaker 3:

I feel there's a lot of. They can lock up and play man to man a lot of times it depends on who's in there.

Speaker 5:

That's what I'm trying to tell you. Me personally. Nothing against the kid and Will Brown doing, but if he had to play man-to-man I think he's going to give up a lot of points. It's just my belief, because that's what I saw pretty much scouting this guy in a game Like his defensive skills are not all the way there and you got three or four other guys that are in your starting lineup that can lock up. So, tony's right, they can lock up. But there's going to be slightly just that one weak link. Yeah, I mean the kid's smart. He's not the most athletic, I don't see. He doesn't jump very high. So you've got to think of things like that. Who is he going to be guarding? You know what I mean. So it'll be interesting, man. We'll see as the season goes on. I mean not down on anyone here on the show, I'm just going off of what I scout from watching games. You're speaking the truth, I guess.

Speaker 5:

Your observation right? I'm just speaking my mind. From what I've observed, I get it. We'll see, man, but you're supposed to get smarter and better as the year goes on. We'll see.

Speaker 3:

I get it. We'll have to ride along More scores during the week. You have on Friday night. This is boys Meridian. I think Hanley plays them too. They're undefeated so far. They won 70-37 over Falkier. Millbrook beat Brentsville 101-37 or something like that. The score is. I know Millbrook scored 101 points and then Skyline defeated Warren County 75-46. And then we spoke on, haley defeated Madness Park 84-30. Sharando won 60-43 over Jameswood. And this was Friday night.

Speaker 5:

Millbrook beat Princeville 101-27. Just to correct you, yeah, I knew it was Friday night. Millbrook beat Brentsville 101-27,. Just to correct you.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I knew it was 101, though. Yeah, so for Brentsville, yeah, I saw where Millbrook had like six, seven kids scoring double, something ridiculous.

Speaker 5:

You know I'm going to have to go down there and just put a uniform on. It doesn't make any difference. I don't know.

Speaker 3:

So that's the local scores. I got Basketball Haley's what 3-0, 4-0. Now Sarando I think 3-1, 2-1, so like one loss.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, I went to the Skyline game Friday night. That was actually a rival game in town, skyline versus Warren County and Skyline they started out the game like 14-0,. Man, I mean Skyline, they could be a problem down the road, man, they just got to get a little bit more team chemistry. They're missing a star player, andre Ford, who's been out with some issues with the wisdom teeth, but he should be back sometime this week. So they'll get a good missing piece to their puzzle back and it's going to be interesting to see how good of a run that they make, man, because they got a couple of legit players over there at Skyline man.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean I've said that Skyline has talent and they should be a force to reckon with. You know, as the season goes, like you say, build chemistry.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, this kid that they got playing center at the moment. Man, I don't know his last name, but his first name is Dwayne. But, man, the kid's a monster bro. He's just on another level, man. I mean this kid probably had like five or six dunks the other night. He basically had 20, 21 in the first half Did Zane get a dunk. Yes, he did, oh Lord. He actually picked someone's pocket at about midcourt.

Speaker 3:

He's like 5'5".

Speaker 5:

He picked his dribble up right as he got inside the three-point line from the left wing. He took two steps. I mean I ain't gonna lie to you, it was a monstrous dunk what. And I mean I ain't gonna lie to you, it was a monstrous dunk, what is it? I was sitting on the front row, on the home side, and I jumped up, man I was. I jumped up off the bleachers. I was like what?

Speaker 3:

Hey, that's impressive for what he ain't even six feet tall.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, man. So, and you know me, man, sitting front row court side, I was making the calls from the stands for him, man, I'd be like that's a walk and the next thing, you know, they blew the whistle Right. But you know me, tony, I've coached, I've ref. So, hey, man, if I see something I'm yelling it.

Speaker 3:

Right.

Speaker 5:

So, all right, we're moving right along man.

Speaker 3:

So moving right along. First topic what are we jumping into? It's on Zeb. Zeb's been awfully quiet, Zeb, where you at?

Speaker 4:

I'm just listening to y'all. No, we can talk about the music, the rappers, they're all getting indicted. The only reason I know about it is because my kids listen to that music. All kids listen to that, right.

Speaker 3:

Right. So who's getting all indicted? What's the names out there so far? Little.

Speaker 4:

Dirk, he's got a song with J Cole. My kids love that song. But he's indicted for murder for hire. Yeah, I've heard about this All right, just last week we were playing Fortnite and they updated, so they got Juice WRLD on there. So I looked it up. Well, this dude's dead. He died of a drug overdose. Man, juice WRLD, yeah, yeah, but he's been dead. Yeah, but I'd never even heard of him.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he got a couple songs that was radio hits, yeah, yeah, he didn't drive a drug overdose, though, but I hear you.

Speaker 5:

So you said they updated to fortnight and basically what happened? Like music started playing of his or oh yeah, it's.

Speaker 4:

They have these live events and and it's the Juice WRLD concert.

Speaker 5:

So I mean so how can they do that, if this guy's dead?

Speaker 4:

Oh, they're making money off his name.

Speaker 5:

Mm-hmm. So shouldn't they be paying like a close family member for that, or maybe like a label that he was under, like they shouldn't be able to just collect all the money?

Speaker 4:

Oh, it probably goes to the record label. The record label probably gets all that, or?

Speaker 3:

family or something.

Speaker 2:

Unless you own the right masters.

Speaker 3:

Who owns the rights to his music. Well yeah, that's the thing. The music industry owns their music. It's got to be the label. We all do that. The music industry owns every, unless you're Michael Jackson and bought the rights to your own stuff. Unless you've got money to buy the rights to your music, the record company owns them.

Speaker 2:

Me personally. He owned the whole Beatles catalog. They tried to kill him because of that. He wouldn't sell it to them. There's so much more behind all the scenes and everything I'm telling you. A lot of shit is deep. He owned all that. Jay-z owns his masters, except for his first album, and that's why him and dame also had beef, because dame wouldn't sell his part of it.

Speaker 2:

And he's like I want my first album yeah, and nothing ever happens to jay-z because he's he's like their perfect puppet, like you notice how like all these people, but I'm saying they own their own things a lot of people don't like tony was saying is the industry owns the record labels, but some of them actually do like jack michael jackson, which is why I think he brought him up, but this dude owned the beatles catalog on top of his.

Speaker 4:

Yeah that's all me most people don't own their music. Most don't.

Speaker 5:

Right.

Speaker 3:

All right back to Lil Durk. Lil Durk, he's accused of two murders is what he's being accused of, and in court for? Yes, it says Lil Durk is accused of ordering the murder of Taequann Bowman, a Georgia rapper called Quondo Rondo, whose cousin was killed in a botched ambush near the Beverly Center Mall in Los Angeles in 2022. And, of course, he's pled not guilty. According to the indictment, banks, which is Lil Durk's, sought to commercialize the shooting death by rapping about his revenge with music that explicitly references audio from a news clip of Bowman screaming no-no after seeing his cousin's body.

Speaker 4:

That's the self-snitching part. They make songs about the crimes they commit, man.

Speaker 3:

It's crazy they're saying it's in their music.

Speaker 5:

They're invading it. I can't remember the name of the song, but I mean he had lyrics about Aaliyah's plane. He basically was saying have a bigger plane to carry more luggage. And that was in an actual song, man Like. So y'all are right about these rappers and these crimes being in their lyrics, man.

Speaker 3:

And then they just want to say, oh, it's just entertainment, it's just lyrics. Yeah, that's what they say. Yeah that's what they want to claim and say that's their cop out. Yeah, but continue on with Lil Durk though. Well, that's what I got. I mean, he's been accused of two murders. Is this the one Lil little dirt that he tried to hire someone to kill his girlfriend or something?

Speaker 4:

Nah, I don't know anything about that. I know he tried to hire somebody to kill Quandarondo. What you're talking about, that's what he's in court for.

Speaker 3:

Gotcha.

Speaker 4:

He was paying. That's what they say. They allege.

Speaker 3:

It could be another hip-hop artist or something I'm thinking of.

Speaker 5:

Now how did they figure out that he did hire someone for Bird His music?

Speaker 3:

Does it basically do his lyrics? Well, it could be, because remember the one, I can't think of it. It could be Lil Durk. I'm probably thinking of somebody else, but Indicted for basically his lyrics. Am I right or wrong? Is it Lil Durk? Just for his lyrics? Remember, there's some rapper, I believe Bobby Shmurda.

Speaker 5:

So, I'm not sure you guys will have to help me out on this, on this topic, because I don't listen to a lot of these young rappers, man, because all they talk about dude, do I like Zed Zed?

Speaker 2:

I know one thing, though your son does yeah, the kids, that's his era.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, they don't listen to it.

Speaker 2:

But your son knows it. Like he'll probably know all that shit. Like if he was a guest right now he'd be all into it.

Speaker 5:

Like oh, oh, you know, yeah, but if we ask them about like pock and biggie, they'll be like, yeah, they died yeah I don't know, I don't know these papers, man, when my son comes out and be like you ain't heard such and such, I'm like who the hell is that? Well, I mean.

Speaker 3:

I guess that when, chris, you bring up you, you brought something up. I back to years ago when we were growing up. Look at Tupac and all them. And now everybody goes back and says, dude, they were telling the truth in their lyrics.

Speaker 5:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

So it's been the same as these guys, I guess, doing the same thing.

Speaker 5:

I ain't know nothing about no blue face. I know North Face, you know what I'm saying. Like I don't get it with these rappers. Man, blue face, blueface. I know Norface. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3:

I don't get it with these rappers man Blueface, what's the one Machiavelli song? Right, it was Tupac, he said. Shook, shot me in the very beginning of the song. Oh yeah, like real people. But yeah, it was like. Are they telling the?

Speaker 5:

future Pac's been telling y'all man. He told you I mean Tony, you just said it.

Speaker 2:

What'd you just say? You said Machiavelli, mm-hmm. You know what that means? No, what?

Speaker 4:

Fake your death.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you're going to fake your death, and if you don't get caught for seven years, you're good to go.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, and he's good to go.

Speaker 2:

That's why he's got the seven-day theory or whatever, but it's seven years.

Speaker 3:

Man. I didn't know that I never heard that.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, man, you told me you didn't know Machiavelli bro he's still out there.

Speaker 2:

Trust me, A lot of these people not really dead man. They're so well-advanced and higher than us.

Speaker 5:

Pac kept that shit personal man. He was like fuck Biggie, fuck Bad Boy and anybody associated with Bad Boy, fuck them too. He's like man, we'll break bomb on you motherfuckers. Man, we'll make sure your kids don't see. Man Like this guy was keeping it personal man because these dudes was sick. Man behind the scene on some grimy shit. Man Like these dudes was undercover gays and Pac's been talking about it forever. Bro, you fuck Biggie's wife. You know what I'm saying, man. Oh, that's one of my favorite songs. Hit them up, bro. This shit was deep. Man. And all these rappers, like all you guys have been saying they've been telling these stories through their lyrics. Man, if we would just listen to these lyrics a little closer when these songs came out, man, we would have already been pinpointing what was going on. You know what I'm saying? Now a lot of things are just being surfaced.

Speaker 3:

You're right.

Speaker 2:

All these people that are on. They're the chosen ones.

Speaker 5:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Their stories are meant to be out there, exactly.

Speaker 3:

Yep, so is that what more you got on this Lil?

Speaker 2:

Durk shit. I think he said somebody else besides Lil Durk well, okay, lil Durk.

Speaker 4:

That's big, though, because he's the biggest one, like that's the biggest name in music I think Wayne was pumping him all the way over to the show.

Speaker 3:

Wayne was pumping some Lil Durk on the way over this morning.

Speaker 5:

I was actually listening to John B on my way here bro y'all know who that is. Tony Shook. Now, who's that again? John B, the rapper, or R&B artist?

Speaker 3:

yeah, he ain't no rapper hell, I don't know who that is.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he got a song with Pied John B or R&B artist. Yeah, he ain't a rapper. Hell, I don't know who that is. Yeah, he got a song with Pied John B. They don't know.

Speaker 5:

Tony's from that era man. I can't believe Tony don't remember a lot of his stuff.

Speaker 2:

Zeb knows who he is.

Speaker 4:

I think I know who he is.

Speaker 2:

I ain't gonna lie. People used to say I looked like John B when we was young.

Speaker 4:

John.

Speaker 2:

B. He got a few songs yeah.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, man.

Speaker 3:

John B was actually a good artist. So, Zeb, to touch on your hip-hop artists being accused, there are currently five hip-hop artists at the high-profile trials for murder and gang act and assault with a firearm.

Speaker 4:

What do y'all know about Young Thug? That's another one.

Speaker 3:

Taking center stage is Young Thug on his ongoing RICO trial in Georgia. It lists suspect in the 1996 death of Tupac Shakur. Alright, so there you go. There are five high-profile it's kind of crazy.

Speaker 4:

You said five of them yeah it's kind of crazy.

Speaker 3:

Young Thug, little Dirk, I'm trying to find all five of them. This is a huge order y'all ain't ready.

Speaker 2:

I ain't naming nobody else that's wild they're big names though.

Speaker 4:

Chris, if you were in 25, maybe those two, but who's the other three?

Speaker 2:

I Maybe those two, but who's the other three? I'm just talking shit. But who's the other three? Of course we know who Young Thug is, because Tony be bumping him. That's Devante's favorite song when he was born. That's the one where he'd be like, yeah, dab-a-dab-a-dab-a-dab-a-dab-a-dab-a-dab-a-dab, I can't name a song Devontae was singing that when he was like two months.

Speaker 3:

I mean I'm sure I've heard his songs but I couldn't say it was him if it played Like oh yeah, that's a little bit younger, but your kids listen to it. Yep the kids.

Speaker 5:

Your kids would know. I can't believe you don't know about us. John B man.

Speaker 2:

No, but who's the other three? I'm trying to find it right now. That's what I'm saying, though I can name mad people from my time that had all that kind of stuff going on Snoop Dogg, beanie, sigel, all them people had beat murder cases yeah.

Speaker 1:

See.

Speaker 3:

One article pops up and says there's 27 rappers in jail or prison right now 27.

Speaker 2:

Man, there's way more than that. That's in jail. That's like me and you, just regular people.

Speaker 5:

I just want to get to the bottom of this. Why all rappers end up turning against each other. Are they put into positions to do this shit?

Speaker 2:

It's all a show, man, yeah, man.

Speaker 3:

I'll name a few. Of course, lil Durk's at the top of the list. Ynw Melly has been in jail since 2019 for murder, for murder.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I've heard some of that music too.

Speaker 3:

Tory Linnez was sentenced to 10 years in prison August 2023 for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in a highly of that music too. Tory Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison, August 2023, for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in a highly publicized case in 2020. Yeah, shooting her in the foot 6'9" Big Lurk dude. I can go on and on.

Speaker 2:

That's Zeb's favorite rapper.

Speaker 4:

That's Chris's in Brooklyn. That's Brooklyn people.

Speaker 2:

That dude's a disgrace man.

Speaker 5:

I can't stand that A lot of these guys y'all are naming man. These dudes are highly involved in drugs on that lean and it's like they have no fucking sense of direction. Man.

Speaker 3:

I'll name a few, because that's what Chris wanted to hear YNW Mello, who I've never heard of.

Speaker 2:

I have. But here's the thing we grew up when we rapped about selling weed, things like that. Now that's the rappers. We grew up on Selling coke and selling weed and shit. These rappers nowadays are talking about I'm on the lean, I'm on the perk, you know what I mean. They're doing the drugs that we grew up on. The rappers sell it. Talking about selling.

Speaker 4:

You're talking about making money. It was about making money when we were here.

Speaker 2:

I got that lean in my cup. You know what I mean. And look at this song. That's a big ass hit.

Speaker 4:

Molly Percocet. You know what? They didn't tell us to be the fiends. They told us to be the guy that makes the money. Yeah, it's wild.

Speaker 2:

Where did we hit that turn? And where did we hit the turn of? You don't got to wear baggy clothes. But what the hell's going on when y'all dressing like a I don't even know what to say. You're dressing like a two-year-old girl in Scotland or something Like trans.

Speaker 5:

You're dressing like a female. Really, you're dressed exactly gay. Your jeans are tighter than my motherfucking girls. Like come on, man, I don't understand it, bro. And then when you see them do a video, they got all their goons in the background, like 200 of them. Half of them ain't got no shirts on, half of them got their pants down past their jewels. It's like hold on, man, brothers, man, why y'all showing your shit? I don't understand these dudes. I don't know if these Percocets and Molly or all that shit combined is putting them on another level like the Baby Oil Party. I don't know, man, baby.

Speaker 2:

Oil Party. The bad thing about that, though, is that part is our history of hip-hop. All them people involved, ain't them young kids? They probably already just got taken advantage of not no funny shit as young kids, because they're all out there, Our rap heroes, though a lot of them was involved in that baby oil. Jump off shit.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, but we've had shows about this and y'all know it didn't just start, man, this shit started years and decades ago.

Speaker 2:

But what we're also saying, though, is these new era rappers and kids, they doing the drugs.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, they're doing them, man. They're doing them and selling them.

Speaker 2:

But now that we look at it, though, our era wasn't no prettier. It was worse, man, oh yeah. I mean I think about that, because they're taking and touching little kids. That's wrong. I don't care if they want to have free calls with grown people.

Speaker 5:

Do what you do behind closed doors, but when you take advantage of little kids, nah man well, like you said, like our error, like the drug aspect of it, it was more so like coke and ecstasy, so that that's a drug that's gonna make you feel real good. And then when you got a whole bunch of kids walking around, I mean shit, don't add up. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2:

Like it's wild, bro. Yeah, and Tony, let's talk about that. Why is LeBron James not? Why has he stepped away from the basketball game for a little bit? He's missed a couple games lately.

Speaker 3:

Oh, what did I say I? The conspiracy I'm hearing now is he stepped away because of this P Diddy stuff.

Speaker 5:

Well, I heard that he's really hadn't been on social media either.

Speaker 3:

Yeah that he's like stepping back or I don't know. Somebody would say like, oh, he's going into. Hiding is what it is, because shit's out there now Like that video. There is a. I don't think it's hiding, it's trying to figure out how he's going to clear his name.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly Working overtime right now, like, look, I cannot be involved in this.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, he's probably trying to get his induction order man.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he's like step away from this game for a second. I need to get this Dude.

Speaker 3:

I watched first take with Stephen A Smith. Everybody knows him right. And this came up and it was funny because if you go back and watch that evidence, they're talking about lebron like sitting out games, right, and steven a keeps coming at the one guy like tell the real reason why lebron is. And I'm sitting there thinking like dude, he wants to get out of him, like I'm dark. You know, dude. He asked him like three or four times. He's like okay.

Speaker 3:

I understand the Lakers are saying it's family or whatever. His reason is, you know his foot.

Speaker 2:

Personal issues yeah personal.

Speaker 3:

He said what is the reason, dude? He kept coming at me like dude. I'm like Steven, hey.

Speaker 4:

It's like he knows something.

Speaker 3:

Yep, like he knows that, that's the feeling I was getting.

Speaker 2:

Of course, but he doesn't want to be the one to leak it.

Speaker 3:

Mm-hmm and the guy just stuck to that. It's just personal, it's nothing major. And Stephen A was like no, what is the real reason?

Speaker 5:

But you guys also know, man no other names have been really leaked with the Diddy shit, man, because everybody's basically standing in their lanes and doing what people are telling them to do, man.

Speaker 2:

Jay-Z's name got leaked.

Speaker 4:

Yeah for a 13-year-old girl, and.

Speaker 2:

J-Lo.

Speaker 4:

J-lo was there watching and it's fucking with it's messing with things because that's the Super Bowl halftime show. He's got something to do with that.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, but if they've been leaked, then that's pretty much evidence. Man. Why haven't their homes been raided? You know what I'm saying like? But diddy's all his cribs have been raided. You know I'm saying like it. Just don't add up to me, man. It seems like they're just trying to put more and more on diddy because diddy came.

Speaker 2:

Diddy fit the hand that fed him and he came at diago or whatever that's what I'm saying and in the other instance, those other two people are super, super, super powerful right now.

Speaker 2:

Lebron and jay like not to be funny, as as far as black men and people of their stature, they're super powerful both of them. And again, it was the fall guy, but it was. He was the reason they used him as the fall guys, because he came at diago and you bit the hand that fed you and that that dude, they got way too much money for diddy like.

Speaker 4:

Here you go. I forgot to bring this up, Alright, Kendrick Lamar. He dissed Drake and he called him a pedophile. He made a diss song where he calls Drake a pedophile.

Speaker 3:

He is, he is. That was in the song. Not Like Us, right.

Speaker 4:

I think so, Tony.

Speaker 2:

It is in that song, but it's fine to talk about it because he's involved in that stuff too.

Speaker 5:

Man, I heard, drake was never even a rapper, bro. I heard that most family members of his have always been in the music industry. That's how Drake got into the music industry, man.

Speaker 2:

But he was an actor on TV show when he was young.

Speaker 5:

Right, he had no ties with no music industries, man, so he's another one of those chosen ones, man.

Speaker 2:

And who said it? He said I seen? Ye, do it. Seen. X do it? No. He said Ye, do it. Wayne do it.

Speaker 2:

X came through. Kyle Leiter flew it. He said seen the Wu? Do it? Ray caught it.

Speaker 2:

X came through, caught light of fluid. He said seen the woo? Do it? Ray caught on with the purple tape. He said t, I literally want to shoot up the charts all this.

Speaker 2:

And that ja rule did it, you know, I mean. But then he was like drake up next, let's see what he do with it. Yeah, boom, and who's the one to put people on like that shit? Jay, jay and diddy. And I seen an interview with diddy and he was like don't, nobody make no moves in this industry without me. He was like we make everything happen.

Speaker 2:

He said from what the radios play, to what the kids are influenced by, to what we say, what they dance to. He said we make all that happen and there's way more to it than what we see. So now the music that we hear, that me and you, all of us for we don't really like. But that's what the kids listen to because that's what they're playing now. That's because our generation ruined it for them. I'm going to be honest we're the ones that created these monsters. If we grew up on Diddy and Jay and them and they're the ones that created all this, then it's actually our generation's fault. They don't want to play no More Common and Nas and Talib Kweli and them on the radio. They're too smart. They teach you stuff. They want to play dumb shit. Molly Perkins said twerk for a little dollar. That's it. Fuck that. Shoot each other up, shoot each other up, shoot up these drugs, and that's it.

Speaker 5:

Dumb each other down. It's another form of brainwashing to people. Man, that's what they want you to do.

Speaker 2:

It's sad, but it's true.

Speaker 5:

They want you to be off them sets, man, because that's what they're off of. You heard, Brian? Ain't nothing like a ditty party man.

Speaker 2:

I know, people don't want LeBron to be involved in it, but look, we can't hide that. The truth is that he's probably involved too. He's too big of a stature and he throws up the the illuminati signs before every game yeah, man, I mean, I've seen that one interview post game of that ufc fighter, I think.

Speaker 5:

Uh, either his last name or first name is colby and he called lebron out on his post game. He's like where's lebron been at ever since? He said it was nothing like a ditty party, like we want to hear you. We want to hear you talk, we want your input on what happened at these ditty parties. But you know he always wanted to put his self out there. When something goes on in the economy, with someone black being shot by the police, he wants to defund the police. He always had that platform where he wanted to speak, but he don't want to speak on this platform about this situation.

Speaker 2:

That's why he's not playing basketball right now. He's trying to figure things out. He's like look whoever's working for him. They working extra right now.

Speaker 3:

So what you're getting at, Chris, is back to our generation rooted, is that NWA's Fuck the Police started it all.

Speaker 2:

Nope, not that song. That's a great song. That's one of my favorites.

Speaker 3:

And it's not, or take it to the next level.

Speaker 2:

I don't think any of us all hate every police officer. That's not true.

Speaker 3:

I mean we all hate people that are police officers. We're not saying that.

Speaker 2:

But the thing is, it's true that you should be able to stand up against any and everybody your own government, your own army, your own police. If they're doing you wrong, Like you should be able to stand up against it, we shouldn't be little punks either and just let them do whatever they want and then we continuously just get taken advantage of either.

Speaker 2:

So yeah, that's a great song, but yeah, I think our generation ruined it. I don't think Ice Cube and Eazy-E ruined it. I think Jay-Z, diddy and some of them ruined it. And it sucks because Jay's my favorite rapper since 96. And now I see all the stuff. I'm like shit. I don't even know if he was one, probably made all that music man, but they probably got so much stuff behind the scenes we have no idea. How do they have the biggest hits, the most? Everything they're.

Speaker 3:

The names is everywhere Somebody's behind those scenes doing that man. You got me thinking of the history of hip-hop. Now, like what I'm going to say, the stages or progression.

Speaker 2:

Biggie and Pac both died when those two took over, Like it started out positive.

Speaker 3:

You know you had the Sugarhill Gang and all that. You know what I'm getting at the progression.

Speaker 2:

All them people teaching messages. Yeah, sending messages.

Speaker 3:

Even NWA K.

Speaker 2:

KRS-One and Rock Cam and them teaching messages Even.

Speaker 3:

NWA did. In a way, they had to express yourself. Public Enemy Public Enemy teaching messages, to watch the progression of me.

Speaker 5:

And now it's like, oh, we're telling our fucking real-life story in our music now, which a lot of them did anyway, yeah I heard a lot of I heard a lot of jay-z's lyrics were stolen, basically from slick rick, though well, he pays homage and he says that's his favorite rapper.

Speaker 2:

Same thing as snoop. Snoop has a whole, his whole lotty dotty is the whole slick rick thing you know I mean a lot of people do it, but I think it's showing love, but if you don't acknowledge it, then it's stealing. I think, yeah, you don't acknowledge it.

Speaker 5:

Well, I'm pretty sure that Jay-Z is taking care of that situation. If he owes some bread for taking some of Slick's lyrics, I'm pretty sure he's already took care of that.

Speaker 2:

bro, they had the money to do that he told people what he was going to do in his raps. He he said I'm gonna take over def jam.

Speaker 5:

And he did, he did. And what was that song, um, with mop on it, you don't know. But see, that's, that was. That's how jay was able to to, to swallow these girls in, though, you know, I mean like your rihanna's and your aliyah's, because he was the face of def jam man.

Speaker 2:

Well, there's a rumor that rihanna is Blue Ivy's mom.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, I heard about that.

Speaker 2:

I mean, I'm not sure how much In general though there's rumors that Aaliyah was killed because that's the only way that Beyonce could be on like that, and who's Beyonce end up with Jay-Z and they kill off people. They're very involved in stuff we don't know about and I don't know, tony, if it's ever going to come to the light but I think there's so much more behind the scenes than we're ever going to find out, and I think they're all involved in something that we we don't have no understanding truly about yeah, when you guys get time, man, just just kind of like research, because there was a song that jay-z man all week where, uh, he did talk about aliyah's plane not being big enough to carry her luggage.

Speaker 5:

It was kind of awkward and weird that those lyrics was in that song. I just can't remember the name of that song, man, or I will put y'all on, but yeah, they talk about a lot of this shit that happened in their fucking lyrics, man. It makes you wonder did he have something to do with it? Was he up to that?

Speaker 2:

There was two planes and the other group of people flew out of there and was good, and then they left Aaliyah with this small shitty-ass plane on purpose, exactly, but regardless. Yeah, it's so much more to it, tony, I think our generation of rappers and musical moguls are very much involved in the downfall of hip-hop.

Speaker 3:

Oh, I can agree with that. I agree because, like you say, you've got your Jay-Z's, your P Diddy's and all that. I don't want to say like godfathers, but I don't know how, but they're just huge names and big moguls that control everything.

Speaker 2:

And they both took off extra-anomaly when Pac and Biggie died.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and the thing is, who signs most of these?

Speaker 2:

They were involved behind the scenes with whoever's higher than them To kill off Biggie and Pac and you two can take over and be the face. This is how we're going to do it and we're going to have you guys brainwash the rest of the world through hip-hop Diddy.

Speaker 4:

he owns all of Biggie songs, like I'm pretty sure he owns yeah, I've heard that all the publishing and everything of course he does.

Speaker 2:

Of course he does. Yeah, he owns all that shit. That is bad boy entertainment. The locks would have been and was fighting and threw chairs and everything with him because of their music and the first album and everything else. They was like and they had, they was in that contract and they was like fuck that we getting out of.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, well, there was rumor that, uh, um, bad boy really only wanted Jada. They didn't even want DMX, they didn't want styles, they didn't want sheet. Well, they didn't get X fucked up.

Speaker 2:

Well, they didn't want him, I know, but they didn't get him. They fucked up.

Speaker 3:

Did they not want him or DMX did not want to sign with them? Nah?

Speaker 5:

man? I don't think, is it? I think DMX wanted him because P Diddy wanted the locks. You know what I'm saying. But P Diddy was basically like the only really good artist out of the locks is Jada. You know what I'm saying. But we all know Styles is nice, you know what I mean.

Speaker 1:

But it was just a whole conflict with that.

Speaker 5:

Sheik's nice too, but he's probably the weaker link of that crew. I'm not saying he's trash, but he's nice. But if I had to rate him, it's going to be Jada style Sheik. You know what I'm saying. But out of all them motherfuckers back in the day, x would kill all of them. X was that dude man.

Speaker 2:

He been calling rappers out forever too. He been called Jay-Z out. He been called Diddy out. He been called everybody out. They asked him about Drake. He was like I don't like nothing about him. I don't like how he looks.

Speaker 5:

I remember him asking him too. He's like man, why don't you go to no Diddy Parts? He's like I ain't with that. He's like I'd rather be with my man at a pool hall shooting pool or something. He ain't with that shit, bro. He's a real thug bro.

Speaker 5:

He's a down-to-earth dude Rest in peace. But he ain't with that funny shit, man. It's like a lot of kids coming up that want to be in this music industry. Man, you got to watch out who's going to be your mentor. You can't fall into this trap, man. If you see this trap happening, man, you got to either get out, you got to reach out to somebody that will help you, but most of the people that they try to turn to is into that stuff, man, in the same instance.

Speaker 2:

All these people, that's rock and roll and country and pop stars. They involved in this shit too. Man Trust me, of course, of course, oh yeah, everybody, from the Jonas Brothers to Linkin Park. They're all in this too. Man Trust me.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, I don't really watch it, but I'll never watch the grammys, man, it's just sickening. It's like every time somebody go up there they gotta thank beyonce like man. Cut the shit, man. Why y'all thinking that fucking witchcraft, motherfucker, because she's gonna put a spell on y'all motherfuckers, man, that's why, y'all thanking them, they be crying and scared and everything.

Speaker 2:

You see how I seen them. They was looking when they win and she's involved in that award and they're like, oh shit, I beat her.

Speaker 5:

They started like oh uh, I want to say it was when Taylor Swift won that Grammy. Man, Like Beyonce, was about to stand up Like she won the award and they gave it to Taylor and you should have seen a look on her face. And that was the time when Kanye ran up on stage.

Speaker 2:

He saved Taylor Swift's career right there.

Speaker 5:

Fucking right man Kanye saved her. Shout out B-Bay.

Speaker 2:

She deserved it. She had the best album of the year, but he took it from Taylor Swift. I mean took the mic and they was like because Taylor Swift had no idea what to do or say, Kanye saved her.

Speaker 5:

Nah, because that was like her first ever Grammy, wasn't it?

Speaker 3:

Yep, first one, I believe so. But speaking of Kanye, remember when everybody thought Kanye was fucking crazy.

Speaker 2:

That's because he called out the industry and was telling the truth. So they made him and Cat Williams and them look crazy so they can save face.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, everybody said even we were like man, this guy's crazy. But now all of a sudden he don't look so crazy.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he ain't crazy, he said. And in that video he said you can control Jay-Z, you can control Beyonce, you can control LeBron James, you can control Shaq, you can't control me. He said, did he too? He said all those names, I swear to you. He said Shaq, shaq's involved in that too. How the hell is he the biggest statue ever, not just man-wise, but in general. He's the biggest celebrity out there, along with Snoop. Yeah, man.

Speaker 5:

Everybody knows Shaq. The biggest thing that happened for Kanye was he got away from the Kardashians man, because the Kardashians man they're just like fucking Jay-Z and Bey man. They're all involved too. They'll bring your ass down, man, starting with the mom man.

Speaker 2:

They kidnapped his daughter, who, of course, is by Kim Kardashian, but they kidnapped her.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, man, if it wasn't for Travis Scott, he would have never found her. Look, it's kind of funny man. Anybody that dates like those Kardashians. Just think about it. All of them took a turn for the worse, bro. We can start with Lamar. Lamar Odom, you know what I'm saying. You got your Kanye's. What was the Kardashians, scott? Even their brother took a toll for the worst man Like Rob.

Speaker 4:

Kardashian man.

Speaker 5:

Like anybody that came to there and didn't they date?

Speaker 3:

there was some football player. One of them was dating too. Yeah, it was a white dude.

Speaker 4:

Kim used to date Reggie Bush, reggie Bush.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, but who was the basketball star that was dating?

Speaker 2:

a white dude. I don't know if he's a star, but she was dating Chris Humphries.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, chris Humphries, that's what it was. He wasn't a star, I mean he was a kid.

Speaker 2:

She married him they married each other.

Speaker 5:

Right and like it seemed like every time they get with a dude man like their life starts going downward. Man like trending down.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, and people can take it for what it is, but but out of all those guys from Lamar Odom and everybody else, including their own family, like Rob Kardashian and them, what about Bruce Jenner?

Speaker 5:

They turned that dude into a woman man.

Speaker 2:

Yeah. No lie I think it was because the Kardashians were getting so much love and publicity. Like everybody watches them still. People just loved them. It was like man, fuck this, I'm not going to be the only guy in this house.

Speaker 5:

I'm like you said the only way I could have success is being one of them and that's crazy because he's an olympic gold medalist yeah I mean like and like the way you're gonna say god, god looks up to that man.

Speaker 3:

At one time he was like the best athlete in the world yeah, he was on top, he was on spot.

Speaker 2:

What was that magazine we used to have when we was young? Sports Illustrated.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, but so was Lamar Odom. Lamar Odom was killing it for the Lakers before he got with Chloe man.

Speaker 2:

And champion and everything Beast.

Speaker 5:

And then when he got there, like man, I'm going to tell you right now, before he got with that girl, I don't think Lamar was in the coat man, I think he was just smoking weed during the season. Bro, lamar wasn't into that shit until he got with Chloe man.

Speaker 4:

Then he went down. It's like Kanye was better before Kim Kardashian. He just went downhill. Then he started making gospel music. He started having those church services and all kinds of stuff when they broke up.

Speaker 5:

I think these girls be drugging these guys, though. Man, that's my belief, man.

Speaker 3:

They got that Diddy Baby oil.

Speaker 2:

I mean they're all involved in that kind of stuff.

Speaker 3:

Trust me.

Speaker 2:

we think it's funny and a lot of people think it's a joke because Kyle Williams and them say it and don't take it for the truth. They all have that extra shit that we don't know about. Yes, hell yeah, they drug people, they take advantage of each other. Just to remind every viewer, this is only for entertainment purposes only, yeah, so if you get drugged later on today, don't blame us.

Speaker 3:

Right, so alright, so moving on.

Speaker 5:

Wayne, you know what time it is man.

Speaker 3:

You know what time it is, man. You know what time it is, it's Wayne's picks.

Speaker 5:

And I want to say Wayne's NFL picks. Last week he went 100% and just before I start my picks I got to give a shout-out to my man right here You're about to get a ban for hyper-right infringement.

Speaker 3:

You too.

Speaker 5:

Nah, shout-out to my man, john B, because Tony tried to say he didn't know who he was. But they don't know. But on with these picks, man. Last week I took the New Orleans Saints over the Giants I was correct. Pittsburgh over the Browns I was correct. Dolphins over the Falcons I was correct. Buccaneers over the Raiders I correct. Buccaneers over the Raiders I was correct. Eagles over Panthers I was correct. Dolphins over the Jets I was correct. Seahawks over the Cardinals I was correct. And the Chiefs over the Chargers last week.

Speaker 5:

So, tony, you are right, that was 100% parlay. So if you put the money down on that, I'm pretty sure you brought something home. Tony and I we did not, because we got to cooking some fish and just didn't get to parlay in. But this week I'm going to have it in. So this week's parlay will be the Commanders over the Saints, cincinnati over the Titans, the Chiefs over the Browns, dallas over Carolina, baltimore over the New York Giants, denver over the Colts, arizona Cardinals over the Patriots, and the game of the week to me will be Philly over Pittsburgh Steelers, even though Pittsburgh's missing a couple of defenders. That's why I'm taking the Eagles over Pittsburgh and Minnesota to keep cruising over the Bears. So there is your nine-leg parlay for the week, and hopefully we can repeat what we did last week at 100%.

Speaker 2:

And if you want to add that 10th leg, ladies and gentlemen, pick them. Lions over Buffalo in Detroit today at 425.

Speaker 5:

That could be a game of the week, but I like the Eagles with the Steelers man because that's an in-state game.

Speaker 2:

You got the Eagles winning.

Speaker 4:

Where's that at? Yes, it's in.

Speaker 5:

Pittsburgh. But I like the Eagles to win because the Pittsburgh Steelers are missing two key players on that defensive side and there is no George Pickens this week.

Speaker 3:

I don't know how to bet against you, Wayne. I mean you went 100% last week, but, man, I'm leaning towards the Steelers.

Speaker 2:

The game's in Philly.

Speaker 5:

Are you sure about that?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and they're both at 425. Wow, buffalo Detroit and Pittsburgh Philly both at 425. Damn, they fucked up.

Speaker 5:

They should have put one of them at one or put one of them at the night game.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I could have sworn it was in Pittsburgh, but you are correct, it is in Philly.

Speaker 5:

The night game is Green Bay and Seattle Gotcha. Yeah, I kept that one off my list, but in that game, though, I'm going to take the Seahawks at home, even though the Packers have been rolling, because that's a must win. That is a must win for the.

Speaker 2:

Seahawks and for the games you didn't take. Then I got the Jets over Jacksonville in Jacksonville. I got the Dolphins losing in Houston to the Texans, yeah. I got Detroit beating Buffalo in a hell of a game in Detroit and I got Tampa Bay beating the Chargers. That's interesting.

Speaker 4:

Buffalo and Detroit could be a preview to the Super Bowl.

Speaker 2:

Yep, but, like you said, that's the game a lot of us would love to see is that kind of game, and we'd probably end up with Philly and Chiefs.

Speaker 5:

I hear you all on that. But Buffalo won't make it to the Super Bowl. Man, because I'm just not that firm believer of Josh Allen when it comes to that playoffs man. He always somehow screws up to get into that big game.

Speaker 4:

Great season.

Speaker 5:

that Allen's having, though, go ahead, chris.

Speaker 2:

Not my fault. Yeah, josh Allen, but just like that Lamar too. I would rather see the Ravens out of the AFC, but I don't think I haven't seen it yet from Lamar, so we'll see. But they also didn't have Derrick Henry, true so, but the Chiefs man in my homes look what we think when we're watching Tom Brady man, you ain't gonna see nobody like this, probably till we 50, 60, 70 years old man.

Speaker 5:

We already got one yeah, but I'm, I'm just not. I'm not sold on the Chiefs right now, because what they're doing is just squeaking by man.

Speaker 2:

But they find ways to win.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, but I don't think what they've been doing through this regular season it'll turn out like that in the playoffs, man. I believe when they face a good team, chiefs are going to lose, man. Well, those two good teams are who?

Speaker 2:

Probably the Ravens and the Bills, Possibly the Steelers too.

Speaker 3:

It'll catch up to the Chiefs. The Chiefs remind me of the Minnesota Vikings that one year they always lost one or two and they were winning the same fat like close scores and pulling them out, and then it caught up to them in the playoffs.

Speaker 2:

Who was their quarterback?

Speaker 3:

I don't know, probably Fran Tarkington or something, fran Tarkington I think it was Brett Favre. But that's just what it reminds me of, because they're pulling out these close games and got a horseshoe up their ass.

Speaker 3:

I mean what? They won a game where they should have lost. Who was it? They block a field goal at the end. You know they should have lost that game. You know they're pulling these tight games which, hey, great teams pull out Ws. I'm with you, chris, I get it, but who's their quarterback? So to me you can't count them out, because they're two-time defending Super.

Speaker 5:

Bowl champs. Yeah, he asked you who's their quarterback, though.

Speaker 3:

Who For who For the?

Speaker 2:

city, though who for who city, when right now it's patrick mahomes? How many super bowls has he already won? What three? Yeah, and he's a kid. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. We thought we wouldn't see no tom brady for a long time. This dude already here. He came right after tom, went to tampa and then won one and retired he was. Are you ready?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's like I just said. I said you can't count them out. They're defending champs. He finds ways to win.

Speaker 5:

And that kid, he got lucky though man Like he fell in, I mean just like a diamond out of the rough. So all right, we know he didn't start when he first came to the league. It was a key injury. That a key injury, that's how he got on the field. But he landed one of the greatest regular season coaches ever and Andy Reid, which is an offensive-minded coach. So you got to sit behind a smart QB in Alex Smith and then you get a coach in Andy Reid.

Speaker 3:

I mean Well, isn't that most successful franchises? You need everything to work out the smartest thing to do is have a young quarterback sit behind. Look how Green Bay Green Bay is a prime example of they know how to find and groom a quarterback. They did for a couple years they went through Brett Favre, then it was Aaron Rodgers. Sat what two, three years until he started. And then here comes Jordan Love.

Speaker 2:

There's two Monday night games. Again this week there's two of them Bears at Vikings, falcons at Raiders. It's weird how they keep having two Monday night games. Yeah, that is kind of weird. Yeah, the doubleheader. But before we get off here, fellas one thing we ain't really touched base on man.

Speaker 3:

Shout out to Mr Travis Hunter what's up with that, we ain't speak on it. Oh well, shout out you know one to Heisman what we talking about, that Was it going to be him or Jenty? So hey, we said I think the best kid got. I mean to me, if Jenty or Hunter, you couldn't go wrong with either one. But Hunter gets the nod because he's played both sides of the ball.

Speaker 2:

He averages 111 snaps a game. Yeah, that's not easy.

Speaker 3:

I mean that's OD. It sucks for Jenty because he had like a career like what broke records.

Speaker 1:

It sucks.

Speaker 2:

But in the same instance, not even Hayden. He is a great young quarterback, I mean running back, but Barry Sanders still has the record and he did it in 11 games. This dude, jenty, played 14 and still couldn't get it done. Not hating, but you know what I mean. Yeah, barry did it in 11 games yeah, well, barry was different, so so he didn't have it.

Speaker 2:

so so for me to say that guy deserved it over. Somebody who plays both ways of the ball and, as he's leading both both of those positions plays every damn snap, man, man, that's incredible yeah.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's just weird to me how they set the awards up for college, like, okay, they have an AP Player of the Year and they have a Heisman. Like bro, I'm going to tell you right now whoever the AP Player of the Year is should be the fucking Heisman, like it's no fucking different.

Speaker 3:

Agreed.

Speaker 5:

But over the years you've seen okay, tony get the AP Player of the Year, but I won the Heisman, like what.

Speaker 3:

So technically, Tony wasn't a Player of the Year.

Speaker 5:

Like I just don't understand these awards.

Speaker 3:

I guess I get it away because the AP or Spurs they come up with their own voting Vote for Player. Because the AP or sports they come up with their own lit voting. You know, vote for players of the year or whatever. So it's different.

Speaker 5:

I get it Like technically this should have been a perfect year of Gentry being the AP player of the year and Travis.

Speaker 3:

Hunter being the hospital.

Speaker 5:

There you go. See what I'm saying. There's your co-players of the year, right, there you go. Yeah, man. And before we get off here, man, I'm going to tell you all right now, man, the Super Bowl champion is coming from the NFC North. One of those teams is going to win the Super Bowl. Y'all remember I said that. Who are you picking? The Bears Packers Minnesota.

Speaker 3:

It's either Minnesota or Detroit Super Bowl, and whoever wins that game is going to win the Super Bowl, Goldie there you go.

Speaker 5:

All right, everybody Still in the playoff hunt. They are, but I don't think they they don't have what it takes to get there me personally, I feel like Detroit and Minnesota. They got it on both sides of the ball. These two teams.

Speaker 2:

They play offense and they play defense Where's Zeb at? Because Zeb's a mid-line fan.

Speaker 4:

Detroit's doing it with a lot of injuries right now too, and we get in the playoffs, some of those guys will start coming back.

Speaker 5:

Some of the starters come back, yeah, but you got a damn good coach out there in Detroit of making these players believe hey man, he's a player's coach. Man, he's great. Yeah, but he knows he's missing his number one draft picks. But he's like look, you're the next man up and you can do what he does. You know what I'm saying?

Speaker 2:

I mean we drafted you for the same reason Exactly man. And you grew up thinking you was better than any of these people. You didn't know them. You was like I'm the best. Well now you get into this league and you realize there's other people just as good, if not better. But it's your turn now. My man, you ready? Yeah, why would you even be on the team? Shout out to your coach.

Speaker 5:

Shout out to your coach Zeb, oh yeah.

Speaker 2:

Zeb you got Detroit. What are y'all? 12-1? Yeah 12-1. Y'all might finish 16-1, but today's a huge game. It doesn't mean anything for either one of y'all Y'all both going high ranked in the playoffs, but it'll be a huge game for momentum and to show y'all, or Buffalo to show who's really like that in the league right now. Because, Buffalo just beat the Chiefs.

Speaker 5:

And I remember just a few years ago everybody was saying that Jared Goff was a bust and all that man. Like bro, he revived himself, man. He took all of his critics and shut them all up, man.

Speaker 2:

And they have great skilled position players.

Speaker 5:

Sam.

Speaker 2:

Brown, montgomery, dude, they got two runnerbacks.

Speaker 5:

Two runnerbacks. Yeah, and don't forget, they got a beast-ass tight end too. That's just been banged up throughout the year and Sam Laporta. So they got weapons man.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, the only thing I don't like about Buffalo is you're right, allen, he's just not clutch. He's not a clutch quarterback.

Speaker 2:

He's not man. Until you become one, you're not, You're right. So the same thing for my buddy Lamar. He's beast. He's won mvps. He might win his third one this year, but he's not, hasn't won the big one yet, he hasn't even made it. So until you at least make it, I guess those we can't we can't the not a fact that mahomes already has three rings not just been there, he's been there four times because he lost to tom brady yeah, but he's a clutch quarterback.

Speaker 5:

He's clutch because he's a smarter quarterback than all of them. Man, he's a beast. That's what it boils down to A lot of these guys that we talk about, like these Allens and Lamars. They're like some of the most gifted athletic quarterbacks in the league man, maybe in history, but when it comes down to it, athleticism don't outplay smartness. And Mahomes, he really just don't turn the ball over like that man. So when we speak of like turnovers and shit, that's being clutch.

Speaker 2:

That's all tony ain't got tony, ain't got no nfl talk.

Speaker 3:

Where's dallas, say we're on the outside looking in, looking for next season.

Speaker 2:

You can't speak a little bit on your buddy going down there. He about to wreak havoc on UVA. Who? Bill Belichick? Unc baby, he's about to get all the players Watch, watch. Within a couple years, unc going to be like oh, they ranked number one, number two, number three in the country somewhere, because he going to get all the players Watch, watch within a couple years. Unc going to be like oh, they ranked number one, number two, number three in the country somewhere because he going to get all the studs. And he said he's just making an NFL funnel to just imagine going along with Bill Belichick and whoever he's going to have over there and he's like oh, y'all going to NFL, just come here with me real quick, hey look, chris is right and he's the new Nick Saban of college football.

Speaker 5:

He's about to get all the top recruits and all of them going to the NFL. Chris is right, man, and it's not going to be called Chapel Hill, no more, they're going to call it Chapel.

Speaker 2:

Bill. I like that one. That's funny. It sounds a little fruity but it's funny. I ain't with that shit. Tell them.

Speaker 5:

Zeb, we're going to go ahead and wrap this show up, though, for this week. Man, let y'all get ready and watch some good football, but tune in on Wednesdays, guys, because I'm going to start putting the parlays in on Wednesday instead of right before the game. So if you don't tune into the show, you might not get these parlays. So I'm going to start dropping these things on Wednesdays for y'all.

Speaker 2:

So I'm going to start dropping these things on Wednesday for y'all.

Speaker 5:

Hey, who's Hanley got in basketball this week?

Speaker 2:

Oh Lord, Tony should be already here, Sharando he just put me on the spot real quick.

Speaker 3:

Y'all play Sharando. Yeah, they play Sharando next week. I definitely know that off the top of my head Where's? That game at home or at Sharando? That's at Sharando.

Speaker 5:

They play.

Speaker 3:

Sharando on the 19th, which is.

Speaker 5:

Thursday night.

Speaker 3:

I'll be there George with on Saturday.

Speaker 5:

I want to see that too, george, with Yep before, and then that's at Hanley.

Speaker 3:

The George with one, George with one is yes, that's home.

Speaker 2:

Because if it's not, y'all wasn't going.

Speaker 5:

That's a little hype, man, the.

Speaker 3:

George Witt, they're like that's a kick. Yeah, that's like three hours away, I believe.

Speaker 5:

Hey, we just did it, though, for real.

Speaker 3:

We got down and saw the Skyline football game. Don't say we won't pull low.

Speaker 2:

So, two things, tony. You think their competition is going to come when they play Spotswood Charlottesville Skyline.

Speaker 3:

Their toughest games, in my opinion, should be it will be Spotswood, charlottesville, charlottesville, skyline, and I'll throw Skyline. Other than that, skyline, I'll just throw. They could give them a game, we'll see.

Speaker 2:

Hamlin's averaging a win by like 40-something points a game right now. Yeah, and one thing I want to talk about real quick. I know y'all want to go and watch football, get these fish fries going and stuff. But what grade is Christian in 11th grade? He's a junior. What grade is Ky in 11th grade? He's a junior. What grade is Kyron in Junior? Amari, junior.

Speaker 3:

Briscoe Junior.

Speaker 2:

Will Sophomore Good luck area. Good luck guys. You better go recruit somebody If you're in the area, y'all better go recruit because good luck. Sophomore.

Speaker 5:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Will's a sophomore.

Speaker 5:

How old is that?

Speaker 3:

kid, I think 16. 17, I think 17-year-old sophomore.

Speaker 2:

I think he's 16. I think Aaron's smarter than that, but regardless, look, they're all just starting 10th and 11th grade.

Speaker 5:

They're all coming back next year, like Chris said. Good luck.

Speaker 2:

And they're just dominating people?

Speaker 5:

Yeah, because they've already been playing with each other for years man, it's crazy, except for Will and Kyron because they came.

Speaker 2:

But yeah, they're coming back. And Christian, y'all better hope Christian don't get to like 6'7", 6'8" man, because I'm going to tell you one thing he might go to UCLA or UNC, wayne. Wayne you see him, you tell me about him. He wrecks havoc on the court. He don't have to get 25, 30 a game. He gets a little bit of everything. He's like a better offensive.

Speaker 5:

Josh Hart in high school right now. Man, listen, man, I'm over here every Sunday. Man, I tell the kid man he's like the key link to that squad. Man, like I say it all the time If Christian ever misses a game, andy's in trouble, man.

Speaker 2:

Well, depending on who they play, because they still got all them kids. That's been there, that's getting it.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, but like I mean this dude turns up man Like when I say defensively, bro, it starts with him, bro, I mean he's like 6'4 with the 6'7, 6'8 wingspan. That's what I'm saying, and it seems like everything leads through him, man, because he's creating havoc which leads to turnovers, and he doesn't get shown in the box. Scores like that, like these 6 and seven steals that he creates, they're really his steals, but he doesn't come up with the ball.

Speaker 2:

Well, those ones don't come into it. But when you get 18-8, 5-3-2, man, you're doing your thing.

Speaker 5:

Man, he does this on a regular though, Chris, but look how good their team is.

Speaker 2:

They got four or five people getting double figures. They got Will averaging 20-something a game one of the best shooters in the state and they got Christian Like that's a team to be reckoned with. They might go undefeated.

Speaker 5:

We're going to see. Man, you need to get your ass back in town. Man, catch some of this basketball.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. As soon as the holiday's over, I'm coming down. You know that. Yeah, man, I want to see him play Zayden in Skyline.

Speaker 3:

Well, you got the 28th at Spotswood. No, I'm not going to Spotswood. That's a weekend tournament, it looks like, or invitational.

Speaker 2:

They play him at Hanley right.

Speaker 3:

No, that's away. Oh, they only play them once. Yeah, they're only playing them then. And then they play Skyline. Their first matchup with Skyline is January 10th.

Speaker 2:

Where at it wouldn't?

Speaker 3:

even matter. Front row is right down the street At Hanley and then they play them on the 7th away.

Speaker 2:

Skyline In Charlottesville. Where's that game at that will be right.

Speaker 3:

Now it's listed they're playing at Millbrook. That's weird, but I yeah, that's weird, but I don't know. For some reason it says it's at Millbrook. Maybe Millbrook's having some kind of invitational that day.

Speaker 2:

I don't know, zeb, you gotta take the kids out there and go watch Big Uncle Christian.

Speaker 4:

He's like the high school Kevin Durant his game.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he's special man. Tony don't even know he got lucky His middle child boy. He about to be a beast A beast.

Speaker 5:

I just wanted to start shooting that ball a bit more, man. I believe there's a lot of times he get the ball and he don't even realize look bro, you're open, shoot the ball 16-footer, 12-footer. I mean, there's a lot of times where he's really, really unselfish man.

Speaker 1:

Man.
